Co-sponsor for I-134...need birth certificate?

I was just reading the experiences of the people who went to the US embassy in London for their interviews and one of them was saying that they had a co-sponsor and also talked about their birth certificate....

OH #######.....

my dad is my co-sponsor. my fiance has my original birth certificate and my passport....was i supposed to send my dads birth certificate too??? he just has a regular copy (1957). he is already aggrevated with all the things he has had to produce for me to be a co-sponsor....now im just really hoping i dont have to beg him to go to the currency exchange and get a new birth certificate..... (yes i know thats not cool of my dad)

please someone give me some good news that i dont need it!! as i just sent my fiance yesterday all the i-134 papers and every other piece of evidence known to man

nevermind :angry: i read i need to get a copy of my dads birth certificate or passport as proof of citizenship. blaaaa. :wacko:
