Hey everyone,

Do any of you know what A Fiche Anthropometrique is? This is related to Morocco. The information on the Department of State's website states this:

A Fiche Anthropometrique can be obtained by resident citizens of Morocco upon presentation of the new format National Identification Card (Carte Nationale), a stamped self-addressed envelope, and a fee to the Service de l'Anthropometrie of the Central Police Station of the place of residence. [For schedule of fees, applicants should contact the Moroccan consular office nearest their place of residence.] Non-resident Moroccan citizens may request a Fiche Anthropometrique by writing directly to the Direction General de la Surete Nationale, Fichier Central de L'Anthropometrie, Rabat. The number and date of issue of the new format Carte Nationale must be included in the request. The fiche Anthropometrique is delivered only to bearers of the new format Carte Nationale.

Now, my husband does not have the new Identity card, as his is still valid for another 8 years so there is no need to get one. The police station had never heard of this....

Any ideas?

We appreciate your help!

Did you try googling it?

Yeah, but it's all in french and I don't speak french. I just wanted to know if other people from Morocco had done this so I can find out what they were able to provide

Sounds like a police report.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

The police station had never heard of it? It's just the police report, so that seems surprising. In which city does your husband live?

ETA: Maybe they don't understand the French? It's "Hussen Sira" in arabic.

He lives in Tetouan. The police station said that they would provide him with the only police certificate that they have to provide. He's going to check with the courts tomorrow to see if they know anything different and I e-mailed the consulate... not sure if they'll have any other information. I just really want to make sure all the documents that are needed are obtained... We've been apart too long already :)

Have him go to the central police station in Tetouan and get the fiche anthropometrique, and go to the courts and get the casier judiciere. He can get both of them with the old ID also.
