Dec.28, 2008---we sent our AOS packet to Chicago Lockbox

and until now we haven't heard from them yet, we checked

our bank account but the money is still there

Please help us to lessen our worries here, thank you so much

That's more than a month, kinda long. It might be because of the holidays. How did you send your package? Can you track it? Did you get a confirmation of receipt? Did someone sign for it?

Are you sure you sent it to the right address?

Hi there Eshans thank you so much for the reply, yes we sent it via USPS and the guy told us that it will take 5 days to get there and it's more than a month now but we haven't recieved anything from them yet the only mistake we made was we forgot to put the return reciept

You indeed should have sent a return receipt - but don't panic. i wonder if there is a phone number you can call, because it has been a while for not NOA1.

You might try the post office, see if there is any way they can verify it was delivered. You could always resubmit the packet and cancel the first check. If you do make sure you request a receipt of delivery.

That assumes the OP paid for tracking/delivery confirmation. If it was sent only first class, the OP may be SOL.

Delivery confirmation is not automatic, it has to be paid for. All type of mail, even Priority Mail, can be sent without delivery confirmation.
