Kathryn,

You've been the voice of reason more times than I can remember on this forum. Your news is fabulous but we'll hate to see you go (especially those of us parked in VSC hell). "See" you over on the 'Naturalization' forum!

BTW, was there an online form you used to send your Senator or did you simply write a letter? I'm still about 4-5 months away from getting my 10-year card but I want to have all my ducks in a row just in case.

Super-duper congrats!

Ah, thanks Jo-Anne,

I googled my Senator's name, went to his web-site, and found there an online form to fill out that authorized him to investigate on my behalf. I printed it out, filled it in then faxed it to his Constituency office. I then called his office later that day to verify that they had received it - they had.

I fully intend to stay around and help as long as my experience is still relevant - I've a lot of friends here, and I remember what it felt like when we were just starting out on this journey. Of course, on to Naturalization now:-) - just waiting for last year's tax transcript to come in from the IRS.

hi, Kathryn

Congratualtions!

BTW. Is the name of the form( Privacy Act Waiver/Authorized Release of Information) that you filled out?

I might need that at some point, too.

I don't have luck with those things either.

Yes, it was an Authorized Release of Information form. Don't hesitate to use it if you think it will help.
