Great. So I'm driving from St. Louis, with no snow, to Memphis this weekend. Normally, Memphis would be warmer. Normally, St. Louis would get the snow. Except for the one weekend when I go there. Mother Nature, I present to you, my middle finger.

I love my job.

I'm in Alabama, and if they forecast snow we will probably get 80 degrees and sunshine. I have a theory of an invisible "snow forcefield" around Huntsville (where I'm from) because it will snow to the North, East, South, and West of us, but not in the city. Snow hates us!

Dayum....we're right smack dab in the worst of it....sheeeesh, we're gonna get walloped in these here mountains...gulp.

Copied from the weather site link -

A major winter storm will emerge from the Deep South and track northward along the Eastern Seaboard this weekend. It will produce a wide band of traffic-snarling snow from Kentucky to New England. Hardest hit will be be the region from northern Virginia to southern New England, where accumulations may reach 12 inches. There is also a chance the storm will intensify very quickly once it enters the zone between mild Gulf Stream air to the east and cold air to the west. This could mean blizzard conditions for southern New England late Saturday night and Sunday morning. At this stage of the game the track of the storm is almost etched in stone. Keep in mind, however, that just a 50-mile deviation from this path could mean a big difference in how much snow falls in your backyard.

This is where I am in respect to the storm...

I was supposed to go down to Southeast Jersey tonight for a party with some of my friends from college...wondering if I should stay home.

It looks OK if you make it home before noon Saturday.

Not gonna happen. My wife has to work, she's in retail so not going to get the day off. I have to drive her home around 7.
