I know, Snappy Snaps. Or Kodak Express. Ash is pretty far from the nearest Snappy Snaps and has a disabled car at the moment. Also, he doesn't think he could get the proper lighting taking a photo at home and sending it to Kodak.

Are there any other places in the UK that could possibly take these American-sized 2x2 passport photos? It's annoying because it's the only thing holding us back from filing right now!

This may or may not help. Check out your local independant electronic shops. I have one that the guy takes the picture with his digital camera and the software sizes the picture to US or UK specs, then it prints out of the free standing machine like they have in Boots. Its just a thought, good luck finding a place!

Where is he located in the UK?

About a mile from the middle of nowhere is what he would say haha. He lives in Menith Wood, which is near Bewdley, which is near Kidderminster, which is somewhat near to Worcester haha.

Hmm, I'll tell him about this. It sounds like it could be our best bet! Thanks :)

go to any photo shop...tell em 5 cm by 5 cm. almost the same. any photo shop can do it.

He said all passport photo places he knows are just booths that all do the same size photo.

I did them myself. Took the picture at home with my camera on white background, then photoshopped it a bit so it was bright enough, then trimmed it to a 2x2 and printed 2 dozens on photo paper bought at a store (my home printer is a rather good one). It's cheaper, I have plenty for when I land in the states and they don't see the difference at the embassy.

Don't let that hold you back!

Good luck...

Hmmm, I'll try that too. Thanks!

Also thanks for moving it to the UK section, I never noticed there was one, sorry!

are the pictures for the initial application & G325A? the passport picture sent in on my form was a std UK picture size, we just left a large protion of border on.

For the medical again it was std UK size, but for the Embassy interview i had the correct US size.

Just a note that for the Embassy interview they have a photo booth inside the USE.

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

So you really got away with the UK size photos? Hmmm... I don't think he will believe me haha. I want him to try himself and photoshop till the lighting is right. Thanks!

Edit: Yes, it's for the G325a form.

Edit 2: Rob&Dawn, he want to know when it was you filed...

I wouldn't risk UK size photos; you're specifically told not to do that

but up to you I guess...
