Well, we have the Approval for the I485. What now?

physical greencard should be forthcoming... If it is the conditional card then two years less 90 days from the expiration date you apply to have the conditions removed (I-751).

YMMV

Aha Julez - Great to hear from YOU!!! Thanks for the congrats! I have been away so long. How is everyone?

Do you know how soon he will get the green card?

Things are going great here and we are looking forward to heading out next month. I think that Phil is more relieved that he can go back and see his friends and family. I am very happy for him. It's been a loooooonnnnnngggg row to hoe.

We are all doing really well, Audrey! Thanks for asking. We moved into our new to us home back in August and are working on restoring it as its 100 years old. We are slowly making some nice progress. The kids are Griff are settling in pretty well together, and overall we're a happy family. :star: If you can believe it, we're celebrating our 1 year anniversary this month, on the 16th!

The green card, for Griff, took about a week to arrive, if I remember correctly. You should have it well before your trip next month.

Sorry it took so long for you guys to get his green card. At least you have it now and can kick back for about a year and 9 months before worrying about any further paperwork. I'm sure you and Phil will have a great time visiting his family and friends. We are very much looking forward to doing the same next week!

It sounds like fun getting your house fixed up. We too bought a 90 some year old home and have done a lot of work in it including a new kitchen. I'd like to share pics sometime and would love to see your improvements.

I am also happy to hear that you are settling in and Happy Anniversary to you both. We are settling in too - although, it hasn't been easy. The kids are enjoying Phil and he is finally getting something to do volunteer work outside the home which has been a blessing for all of us. We will also be celebrating our anniversary in May. Gosh - it's been a year.

We are looking forward to the trip and besides his brother knowing we're coming, it will be a complete surprise to all. I can't wait to see everyone again.

How is work going? I know that this economy is not the best and I hope that you are doing ok.

How is Griff with adjusting to the USA? I know that he's close to Phil's age and I'd like to know if he's as cynical as my husband is?
