Also very humbling, while you may think you know 200% of what you need to know when starting a never done before project, after a week or so into it, realize you only know about 1% of it. Yes, their are some very arrogant engineers, they don't last long in private industry, so have to work for the government instead.

This is what I like about VJ. The person who is initially insulted ends up being the bad guy for defending themselves.

I know plenty of smart engineers, but I also know that if you think that IQ is best measured by test scores, the philosophers win.*

And if you measure practical wisdom by $5K bets, anyone who takes that bet loses.

*Seriously. Best all-around GRE scores back when it still had the analytic section usually were scored by philosophers. Logic + language.

Before I get to the second page it is so full of errors I can hardly believe this guy has any background in this. An I-864 for a Fiancee visa? It is not enforceable? The I-134 is not enforceable, doesn't need to be, it is for a NON-immigrant visa. The I-864 for the AOS is most certainly enforceable.

I don't know, it is easy to take facts and present them in any manner to prove a point (I once proved hospitals cause death by demonstrating cities with hospitals have consistently higher death rates than cities that do not have hospitals, wht other conclusion can you come to?)

I'll read some more, but when he says that "most marriages" are legitimate and in the next breath says that we are all waiting so long because of the sham marriages clogging the system, makes no sense. And, what the heck, I could get scammed by the bleach blonde at the local bar but then I'd have to marry an American woman, are we sure the American women's movement isn't behind this to cut out the foriegn competition?
