Hello Fellow Vj'ers,

I am preparing for my kids I-130 application. SOme instructions i am confused about are:

1. It says" Photo of foreign spouse" -Who is the foreign spouse? Me? or my USC husband coz he is the petetioner?

2. It says "Write Full name of the beneficiary at the back of the photo" Who's photo?? My kids' photo or the petitioner's photo ..since i don't see photos of my kids being required??

3. Proof of naturalization or proof of permanent residency - Is it my USC husband's Residency? He is a US born citizen , is his Birth Certificate enough proof?

I just wanna make sure i am doing the right thing. Thanks and any ideas will be appreciated.

To help other people who read this thread:

1. Since you are applying for a US visa the foreign spouse (beneficiary) would be the non-US Citizen.

2. The foreign spouse/fiance is the beneficiary. The name should be written on the back of each pasport style photo submitted (e.g. petitioner and beneficiary). Or for each person who submits a G325A.

3. Yes, the petitioner, (USC) must show proof of permanent residency. A copy of the birth certificate on record at the local government is enough proof. The birth certificate from the hospital is not considered proof. See the guides for further information.
