i'm totally lost on what to do anymore... I called my embassy to know find out information and they tell me they don't provide any information regarding the visa.. -sighs- here's my problem.

me and my fiance have completed the I-129, we got it approved about 2 weeks ago...he says i'm suppose to receive a package of somekind, that will contain files to fill out and stuff..but i've yet to receive it. i know some information can be gathered without said package..i dunno know what to gather anymore since i've read so many sites stating..this and that. it's confusing me.

if someone could be nice enough to tell me, someone whose about in the same predicament as i am (not the lost part) but had their I-129 approved.. and knows what to do next. i'd really appreciate it..and if someone knows where i could maybe call to get information that would be a big help as well.

thank you!

(just to let people know) i'm a canadian, i'm the one being petitioned by an American Citizen.

thank you for that thought..but i've checked that flowchart before..it isn't really helpful to me..i've read the flow chart and K-1 guide over and over..and it's telling me that my fiance, has to fill out the Noa2, and then from there everything will be forwarded, to different places..and after the Case is received...i should get Forms and Checklist sent to Beneficiary by the embassy?

@.@

...so if the Noa2 was sent and received....i should be getting my packages?

in the mean time i wanna get all the information i can before the package arrives..but i know i can't get the Police background or the medical without the package...if anyone has the list of the forms i will need to acquire, i'd be most grateful.

it seems that you are doing all you can do

it is just a process of waiting

there is no specific time they will contact you

there is no specific time you will get that visa

just hang in there

it will happen

we had AP for a K3....12 days

and AP for CR1......nearly 6 months

it sucks but you have to resign to the fact that you really have no control

you can rush the government :(

Your fiance does not fill out an NOA2, he will receive one to show your I-129F was approved. Your case will then be sent to NVC for further processing then onto the embassy, this may take several weeks.

You can check your embassy's website for all the forms and documents required at interview.

i'm being hasty 'cause my fiance told me that we have 3 months to get all the information ready? that's kinda the reason why i'm stressing out...i don't get the 3 months thing, i never read anywhere on this site or other sites that you only have 3 months to get all the needed info and forms.. just trying to shed some light on, heh!

Okay, so we're not in the same spot quite yet, but I've already got my fiancee (the Canuck) working up her Packet 3 documents. We found the checklist you'll get once your approved K1 petition makes its way back from NVC to the Consulate, which for you should be Montreal, since it probably isn't Vancouver. (I'd know for sure if you updated your timeline... http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=18900)

Check out the following links for the information you're looking for and the list you need to put yourself at ease by taking action to get the process moving forward. Know that you will get the Packet 3 from the Consulate, it is only a matter of time. In the meantime, you can get things in order so that when that happens, you send your info, get your medical and interview appointments, and your visa as quickly as possible.

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...mp;cty=Montreal - Specific to you, see the Packet 3 information.

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...p;cty=Vancouver - Check out the K1 Checklist links from this page, as it shows exactly the documents you'll need to gather on your side of the border and what the USC needs to send your way before the interview. It should be the same as the Montreal checklist, but there may be some slight differences.

Hope that helps.

:time:

It will help everyone to help you. We got our packet three almost a month after we received our NOA2 from Montreal. Good Luck!
