If I were you, I would submit pictures of you and your fiance together (maybe some pictures with the two of you and the baby, if you have any), copies of boarding passes from trips you made to go visit your fiance, copies of passport stamps indicating the dates you went to visit him. Make sure you check out the section on here called, EXAMPLE FORMS, THEY ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND USEFUL. I am also about to submit my forms, but I want to wait a couple of days to see if maybe, just maybe, they post the new I-129F forms.

01/29/07: MEDICAL IN CDJ

01/30/07: INTERVIEW in CDJ **My fiance receives his visa**

03/31/07-04/08/07: I leave to Mexico and bring back my fiance

04/08/07: U.S. ENTRY at LAX

04/23/07: Married in Vegas

02/12/08: Card Production ordered, woohoo

02/15/08: Notice welcoming new resident is received

02/21/08: GREEN CARD IN HAND

08/23/08: After 7 years together . . . Religious wedding ceremony and HUGE PARTY in Jalisco, Mexico (we deserve it)

08/24-08/30: Spend our honeymoon in Acapulco, Mexico

If you already have the baby, you would need the Birth Certificate, translated and certified. If you have not already filed your I-129F, the baby should be listed on it. I hope this helps. Congratulations on your new baby.

Congratulations. Beside what other members have said, I'd like to add that they might require you to prove that you are actually the father by using DNA test.

I used to be indecisive. Now I am just not sure ...

Not true. DNA tests are only used if there is a DISPUTE in paternity. If the mother says he is father and the man accepts that he actually is the father and such man's name appears on the kidlet's birth certificate, why would he need a DNA test?

Did you quote the wrong post in your reply?

In any event, a consular officer would possibly be satisfied if a male USC acknowledged paternity of a female K-visa applicant's baby. With women from some countries it's the male USC who might want to have the DNA test before acknowledging paternity. Kevin&Loan are from such a country.
