Hey im sorry to those who have already answered this question, but i'm working really long hours at the moment and I couldnt find the answer I was looking for so I'll ask myself.

I have just recieved packet 3 (whooo hooo!) but when I went to the US Consulate page for instructions I became confused. It says

"Document requirements

Please obtain original documents or certified copies from an appropriate authority, for yourself and all unmarried children under 21 years of age who will accompany you to the United States. All documents that relate to your petition are required, even if they were previously submitted to USCIS with your petition."

Am I supposed to get the forms I sent to USCIS back? I dont understand why they need them, or even why I am supposed to have them...

I am also confused as step three is...

"When you have obtained all of the documents required for your case, complete and mail all of your documents (do not fax or scan) with DSL-1076 to advise the U.S. Consulate General in Sydney that you are ready for your final visa."

and step four is...

"When you have gathered all documentation, complete and mail the DSL-1076 form to the U.S. Consulate General, Sydney. That office will contact you with your visa interview time. Please do not fax forms DS-230 Part I and DSL-1076, the originals must be mailed."

Do they want me to send the DSL-1076 twice?

Sorry to be a bother but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Do you not have an entire copy of the original I-129F application?

Document requirements - Is this not a statement advising that all documents ie BC must be original or certified copy?

To me reading the USE Sydney requirements it is only 1 copy of the DSL-1076, but you can't go wrong with sending 2!!! Step 3 & 4 look like duplications.

07/15/2008 I-129f sent to VSC

07/19/2008 I-129f received at VSC

12/09/2008 NOA2 approved

01/13/2009 Medical completed

02/03/2009 Interview - APPROVED!!

02/28/2009 POE Raleigh/Durham

05/02/2009 Official wedding day...get to see the family!

04/11/2009 AOS paperwork sent

04/17/2009 NOA for I-765 & I-131

05/13/2009 Biometrics appointment

05/08/2009 Biometrics done

06/05/2009 EAD & AP approved

06/23/2009 back in the UK
