Hey guys.

My night was bad and the day isnt going to be much better.

I hope you all have a good day.

Can I ask any tax experts out there, what would happen if the IRS found out that someone wasnt paying any taxes for all their working career, yet they had an accountant who was flipping numbers around and making it look like something was on the books just so that they could get a refund?

Honestly this is not me but it relates to my situation and I want to know if people can anonymously report people if they know that?

Well, the IRS would audit you and then force you to pay penalties for tax evasion - if it was conscientiously done to commit fraud and the IRS could prove it then they could actually make you go to prison too. In regards to let's say, a company fails to pay the taxes on people's salary and keeps the money, the owness goes to the company, but the person might have some ramifications from that too. Tax fraud and evasion are serious crimes that the IRS doesn't take lightly. From what you're describing, this sounds very serious.

Both the taxpayer and the person signing the return would be in trouble. However, the IRS doesn't audit 100% of returns. Tax cheats piss me off.

Here is a number: The Department of Justice encourages anyone who has information about suspected tax fraud to report it to the IRS tip line at 1-800-829-0433.

Counting my blessings!!

Happy Thursday everyone! We have a gorgeous day outside but temperatures in the teens just don't complement the beautiful sunshine. I'm off today getting ready to go to a new doctor hoping that this one might be the one to give me some answers.

Hope everyone has a great day - especially our three lovely Birthday Girls - Jackie, Tasha and Raja!!!
