I remember a few weeks back seeing a thread about people working out and trying to loose weight.

How is everyone doing?

Report your status here and we will try and keep each other motivated

I have lost 30lbs since 12/7/05 :D I lost 10lbs by cutting out pop and limiting myself to 500 calories for lunch in 3 months and then the last 3 months I have been watching all my meals and sticking at about 1500 calories and working out 2-3 times a week and I have lost 20 more

I have 25 more pounds to go...and get this! I workout at Bally Total Fitness and they said that they have noticed me and they want to give me FREE personal training if I agree to do one of those before and after picture posters. I agreed, so now I have new motivation..Tuesdays and Thursdays I meet with my trainer.

I will have to dig up some really ugly pictures of myself

I hadn't lost any in fact I think I gained. I eat when I am stressed and the thought of possibly loosing my job, buying a house and this immigration ####### well I think put me over the edge. I am on a regiment now and plan to loose 20 pounds before my vacation in September.

I am now on a strict diet with my doc because of my heart and migraines so that should help.

Keep up the good work everybody else.

I only had about 15-20 lbs to lose and I am happy to report that I am there. Went from close to 200 lbs back down to my preferred 180-185 range in the last 4-5 weeks. I am still on the upper end of that range but expect to hit the 180 mark within the next couple of weeks.

It's been easy enough. Lots of fruit and salad, less bread and pasta, meats as usual. And then jogging. I'm doing 5 mile runs now at least every other day (that's 45-50 minutes worth of jogging). That helps with the weight loss and it really gives some energy.

Getting married and getting a desk job is what killed me. Comfort-maybe-or just that I love to eat-maybe. I have had to really readjust my life and I just can't eat what everyone else does or I grow a new thigh

 Doesn't it feel great! One thing I noticed is that as I have gotten more in shape and have been watching what I eat, fast food and processed bad for you stuff just grosses me out :dead: and it is kind of disgusting to watch people stuff themselves!

Keep it up!!

I can do about an hour on a machine. I get in "the zone" -listen to the radio or at my gym you can tune to certain radio stations and listen to TVs that are around and watch a program. On episode of the Simpsons and I am half way done.

I started losing weight and Olya said "Oh my your face so thin! I like like before!" So in one hand I want to lose weight and in the other my fiance loves me chubby. I have about 15 more pounds to go so this will be interesting!

I joined the Gym here in NY 3 weeks ago and I have gone 5 times a week. They have TVs on individual cardio equipment. It's great. I watch TV and get fit. :)

Haven't lost weight on purpose, but not having a man around for the past year and a half I have dropped around 20-25 lbs. Tim has also lost around 15 lbs during our time apart. Just goes to prove when we are together we eat to much! Going to try to maintain a better diet when he gets home and keep this weight off!

Well, in our case, it is the opposite. I lost 25 lbs since I got married. She enforced breakfast on me but I insisted on dinner.

She insisted on salds which I did'nt care fore but we found a recipe for doing salds which we both like.

I think I lost weight primarily because we eat three meals a day but in small portions and I cut the snacking at odd hours.

We, I lost my tummy and feel a lot better !!
