Everything OK Tracy?You sound a little bit bitter ...I might be wrong though B) (F

I'm perfectly fine, but thanks for asking! :)

I've had many friends (internet and otherwise) come and go in my life for various reasons. Believe it or not, I completely agree with QDilly. That post was spot on.

If I recall, I called myself cynical :lol: sorry that I beat you to the punch! I have just been there, done that with message boards and learned a thing or two in the process - both good AND bad things. My experiences may not be what you (or someone else) experience, and it doesn't make me right and you wrong (or vice versa) - it just is.

I've been here way too long and if this site was really cliquey (is that how you spell it?) I'd be in one.

no you wouldn't... :no::hehe:

I also miss some members from awhile ago...I've seen many come and go since I joined in Feb 04.

But I also commend and praise anyone who can break the VJ addiction. :lol: I'm still working on that one. :help::P

But the friends I have met here, I have kept in touch with whether they are still on VJ or not (and would stay in touch with even if I am not around anymore someday). :)

FORGET IT!!

I have a very hectic life and I must confess Iam addicted to vj :help: . I supervise a large unit and I have to tell you that managing personnel is where you really earn your money. Everyday you deal with people and their problems. Everyday people come for decisions and any one decision could misfire and cost you your job. So in between meetings and stressful events, i come on to vj to distract myself from stress. Sometimes I post but always in a hurry. Thus my atrocious typos ;)

scary, so you should let VJ decide the decisions! Make a poll and we'll all vote, on the most important decisions. It'd be fun! :yes::P Let your job hang on the decision making skills of us on VJ.

Not a bad idea, Stina. But judging from the way discussions go on VJ-especially the hot button issues-which go on for 200000 pages, I'd be on the street before you guys can render a decision. :yes:

Not too long ago, a guy who is 2 reports removed from me, had a fall out with his girlfriend. She had gotten hold of his work email password and sent nekked pics of him in compromising poses to the whole staff. The guy was teary. I feel sorry for the guy but his supervisor reported to me her decision not to renew his contract. Well, that was an easy one. I did'nt have to make it. I felt sorry for the guy but I just supported the manager's decision.

What would you have done if you were his boss? :blink:

First, contact legal counsel about any legal action the company can take against the ex-gf for improperly accessing a company account. Assuming, of course, that it can first be established that the ex-gf really did it.

Second, fire the guy.
