I've been here as well since May 05 - tho I was a lurker (hehe) for ages.

the only reason I don't miss a lot of people is that I have the memory of an alzheimeric goldfish and keeping track of usernames is bit beyond my mental capacity

I do miss mary cos she had one of the few usernames that stuck in my head - and Jay-Jay and I share a name so that helps

I do actually remember the old grandma comments - some of you are so bold hehe

I miss many of the old posters.....Tom, digital, mellie to name but a few.....and the ones that are still around like cerise and daniel who dont post quite as much as they used to. VJ will be forever changing.

You are dead right there Lorelle, VJ will always be changing , nature of the site, people come on and get the approval and move on to their new lives , wonderful but sad and soon you will be m oving on too Don't be a stranger Lorelle, you really would be missed

You know what I really enjoy (maybe enjoy is the wrong word, gobsmacked at times may be more appropriate) it's when a thread is started and it gets shall we say "heated" and some of you on here and some of those who have not been around for a while, made the thread fascinating reading by the array of comments that came out I am unfortunatly not witty enough to join in a lot in those threads, I admit it but it made for damned good reading

He didn't start OUT nasty tho - I remember pre-his marriage I used to read and enjoy his ascerbic wit..then he just dropped the ascerbic part, retaining one letter, and the word 'wit' (think about it.. )

And Melo - LMAO - god yes I remember her, she was responsible for our VJ hos club! So not all bad then

No, I agree with you too. I've just noticed several comments about the cliquiness and was wondering if maybe that's why people get that impression. I would always scratch my head at comments like that wondering how an internet board could be cliquey...

Agree it's their problem they need to get over.

I know that no one would miss me if I left here. I made so many supposed 'friends' on the other message boards I posted on. A grand total of 3 still keep in touch to this day.

Message boards are what they are; information (depending on the board) and entertainment. Cynical yes (esp. considering I met my fiance on a message board!) but flat out true.
