I believe BpringSP may have been asking about timeline info.

BringSP - go to the top of this page and click on the link for Immigration Timeline, then under the heading of Timeline Functions click on Add/Edit my info. There you will have lots of info to fill out. As far as the signature is concerned you go to My Controls and on the left you see Edit My Signature - that's where you enter your info.

Also, in my Signature you'll see "February 2009 I-130 filers" it's a link to a spreadsheet I created that tracks all the February filers progress and my guesses as to when their next event will occur. Once you have your timeline completed I will add you to the list so you can see how your progress matches up with the others.

Welcome to the Lucky February Filers!!!

Just checked and my IV bill is ready to be paid. Think I'll wait a week or so to pay it since it'll be 2 weeks before I get SO's PCC & BC. Might as well earn a tad bit of interest.

I must admit I haven't really been reading all visa info in depth, I just kind of solicit answers from people who are ahead of me in the process :) as most of you are very well aware :)

So I am reading over DS-230 info and I see that we will have to pay $380 for the visa upon hubby's approval at the Bosnian consulate...

Somehow I missed this info before :) I thought that after the $400 IV bill we just need to pay for medical exam and that's it.

Oh, well ... Just thought I'd throw this out there for any other suckers who aren't reading carefully like me :)

I thought that too, but that is not correct. The $400 is the visa fee. Those who are filing for K1 pay their visa fee at the consulate.

That's my understanding too. We just need to worry about the medical exam after we're done with NVC.

I never received anything from USCIS either. It's a good sign that they're touching your case. NOA2 is probably just around the corner. Goodluck.

hey guys, I had a question about form I 864. The total income on the form is suppose to match with what income on the tax return?

this isht is scary. Is there a way to get a viss without having to go through all this? ...kidding.

To each is a goal to which God turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good.

Wheresoever ye are, God will bring you Together. For God Hath power over all things.

I finally got my $400 fees paid for IV. For the question of I-864, you just have to show that you will take care of the person you are bringing to USA without gov't help for the next 2 (3?) years. Show them the money above poverty line and you are good. ($10000) http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/08Poverty.shtml

Quick question for anyone who is VJ Certified. I got the Police Clearance Cert but not the Passport Clearance Cert. India (Ahmedabad office) requires the Interview Letter before getting the passport clearance. bunch of bs. I called NVC and they said that "Have India office write you a letter stating that" because according to the new rules you dont need a interview letter, just simple barcode (DS-3032 process) letter.

Question: Police Cert works for NVC (DS-230 packet) without the Passport Cert. ???

Patience is the key to success... GOOD LUCK to everyone waiting for all the NOA2s and RFE clearance.

Mr. Patel..

I am also from Gujarat India... and I would also have to goto Ahmedabad... for our passport office.. there are all the illetrate ppl sitting there not reading the documents but looking at the pictures...

for them the Interview letter is the colored image of statue of liberty.. What I mean by this.. is:

By now you must have received following documents...

DS-3032 Form with letter to you and your wife..

AOS fee bill with the letter

DS-230 IV fee bill

Which all consist the information of petitioner and the beneficiary.... with the Statue of liberty image on the first page...

you simply need to make color printout of all this forms... and take it to the Passport office.. show it to them... this will be accepted cus last week my cousin did the same thing and I am going to do the same thing.

Goodluck with this process..

Are you talking about Part 6, Question 25? If so, each total income should match the adjusted gross income (your income after tax) of the corresponding tax return.

Here's an update on my case. I panicked this morning when I called NVC and heard the same AVR about "the NVC has reviewed your packet of forms and found information missing or incomplete on your financial evidence. NVC mailed a checklist letter on April 29, 2009 for correction..." I was like #######?! I just received that same checklist on April 28 in the email (and per AVR it was generated on April 24). I immediately called NVC as soon as I got to my office and spoke to a very nice lady. I explained to her that I already received that checklist and as a matter of fact, I sent it back to them last Tuesday. She said it's just a reminder that NVC is still waiting for the RFE package. She said it was generated again because my DS-230 has been ACCEPTED!! So if NVC gets to enter the RFE package in their system this week, my case should be completed by early next week.

Holliday and Sombercat, you should call NVC and inquire about your case. Yours should be completed by now.

If I didn't mess up my AOS package, I should have been done with NVC by now! Oh well, I guess waiting for few more days doesn't hurt that much. I'm just glad that it seems my case will be completed before I leave to visit my husband in the Philippines in third week of May. Maybe we'll even have an interview scheduled by then. :star:

Anyway, for those who are still waiting for NOA2s, don't loose hope and be patient. I know it must be frustrating, but it will happen soon. Just believe it.

And those who are in the NVC journey, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. We're almost there. Just hang on. :star:

Chrissy, have you inquired about your AOS package yet to find if it has been accepted? I have a feeling that it has. Once you returned the RFE package in the next week or so, you'll be done too. BTW, any news on the expedite request in Nepal Consulate?

lixer, goodluck on your AOS package. Lets hope for no RFEs for you.
