Carlish,

I am looking at your time line and cannot believe it has been a month already since your case number was assigned. I feel like it was just yesterday that the whole NVC thing started developing ... I guess I was so prepared for this process to take like a year, so I am pretty shocked that it's going so fast for all of us:)

I know what you mean. I wasn't expecting to get out of the USCIS till after 3 or 4 months. But now most of us are in the final NVC stage already after almost 3 months of filing the petition. If God permits, we will all be with our spouses this summer or fall. It's really amazing. :star:

Great to see everyone's progress.....sent in DS 230 package today- and I just spoke to NVC - they confirmed that my AOS package has been accepted. Thank God! My hubby and I , checked and rechecked everything. So hopefully all will be well.

Sombercat....looks like the Montreal Interviews are moving along.....and we are both proceeding at the same pace.....it won't be long....

Rehan....doesn't an NVC error qualify you for an expedite? Maybe you should call NVC and speak to a supervisor....I am not sure but it won't hurt to try...

I am so grateful for this site.....you guys are the best! :energy::energy:

I noticed that about the Montreal interviews. I nearly fell out of my chair a few nights ago when I saw how many people got theirs for June. Barring any RFEs for us, it looks like you, Holliday and myself should be there around the same time. No RFEs, no RFEs, no RFEs. :star:

Wow, that's awesome! Hoping to get out of NVC sometimes next week and getting a June interview as well. Goodluck guys!! No more RFEs, no more RFEs.

You'll be much more fortunate that we are Carlish. Those people we were talking about that got June interviews all got their NVC approval in early April. Since we're looking at May approvals, we're probably talking about late July/early August interviews. Believe me, I'm not complaining. Like you said earlier, we all thought this process would take a very long time. My husband and I were figuring about a year, which would mean going to Montreal in the dead of winter - not a fun time. Now that it will be a late summer interview, we'll be able to enjoy Montreal for a few days.

hi all!

NVC already got my information on Monday. Just for those who don't know situation, they mistakenly put my case in Green card category. Anyway, I am also planning to email NVC all the documents and a request to upgrade that I already sent through mail. I just wanna double check the email address that some of you used when you emailed DS3032, so can u please give me that. I don't think they will get confused with the email since one member told me that's how they upgraded their petition. Please Reply!!! Good luck to all

Just for all future questions, we paid the IV fee before the e-mail was generated and we did not have any problems with it... so I don't think that you have to wait. It is a matter of personal choice... whatever you are comfortable with.

My husband got the correct police certificate this morning and mailed it to me a few hours ago. I know this because he kept calling me in the middle of the night to ask me questions, hahaha.

Anyway, even using the fastest delivery option, it probably won't get here until Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Then I have to scan it in and send it to the translator, pick up the translation, and then send the package to the NVC.

So, I guess we too are playing the waiting game once again (but not even with NVC yet). :(

::thinking happy thoughts::

:star:

I kind of want to call NVC and see if the AOS package has been accepted, but I am scared. hahaha. I don't know if I could handle getting another RFE at this point... but we did submit that package before the DS-230. We will see if I can muster up the confidence at lunch today...

Hope you are all doing well!

You'll be back in the game before you know it.

I'm scared too to call NVC to ask about our DS-230. I don't think I can deal with any more RFE right now. I need a break. Bu maybe I will call this Friday... maybe.

I was scared to call NVC too, but I broke down and did it a few minutes ago. I figure since I'll be in SoCal in a few days, that will cut down my obsessing. Anyway, the lady said we are in final review. Are there really different types of reviews? I doubt it. I'm pretty sure I could call and speak with someone else who would just say we are in a plain old normal review, so I'm not taking anything from it. All I know is there's no RFE yet and that's what I obsess about the most, so I'm done obsessing... for a few hours.

My poor mind needs a break - guess what I did last night? Do you ever have those dreams where you wake up and can't tell whether it was real or not because it seemed very real and your brain's too groggy to figure it out? I did that last night, not once, not twice, but three freakin' times and it was about our visa approval. I dreamed it was approved and woke up a little after midnight and couldn't remember if we'd really been approved yesterday or not. Then, as if that weren't good enough, I did it TWO more times - once a little after 2AM and the other right before 4AM. #######? So when I got up at 6AM to go to work, I was brushing my teeth and still couldn't figure out if those were dreams or if it really happened, so while I was still brushing, I reached over, grabbed the phone and called the NVC. What a moron. I need to get a life!

That sounds promising. Hope they can fix their mistake as soon as possible. Here's the address I used to email the DS-3032: NVCinquiry@state.gov. Goodluck!

Question: when you say in your timelines "I-864 package received" by that you mean that the cover sheet has been generated, correct?

I mean, i don't need to wait for anything else to be sent to me if I paid the bill and have the cover sheet with barcode?

No need to wait. You can go ahead and send your AOS package as soon as you have the bar-coded cover sheet printed out.

I think I will wait until I get all the paperwork from my husband and file taxes before I send it in. I think I will send AOS and DS-230 at the same time since both bills are paid...

As much as I would love to speed up everything that I can so that we increase out chances of approval by our anniversary on July 24th, at the same time I have so much to do before he gets here (get a better job, find an apartment,...) that I guess it's not so pressing for me to send it in right away.

I don't know, I am still trying to decide, I am giving myself time until next Monday to decide :D

I had similar dreams the other night, but it was about the RFEs. I can't really remember exactly what the deal was, but it felt so real. LOL

I think you'll be the first out of NVC. I'm crossing my fingers for you. :star:

I thought your AOS package is ready to go. But please don't send it if you don't have all the supporting documents. It's better to wait than risk having to deal with RFE. It's not fun waiting for that darn checklist.

I am not sure I understand this, because on the website where you paid the AOS bill it will show you all information for IV bill as well. I didn't receive an email either with invoice number for IV bill, but on the website it shows the balance due and it indicates that it is ready to be paid now.
