Carlish, I'm so glad you finally got the email and can resume the waiting game. lol

I doubled, tripled checked (again and again) the I-864 and mailed it back to NVC this afternoon. It almost didn't make it as the package needed to be scanned before 4PM to get delivered overnight. The post-office lady was very prompt and aware of the time. It was scanned at 3:59:24. :PNVC should get it before 12 Noon tomorrow.

I'm officially back in the waiting game! :star:

OK, so we are still waiting for the choice of agent email acceptance, and I have not sent the AOS packet in (waiting for tax forms from husband). I just checked the website and saw that the IV bill is ready to be paid!!! Since we have not received any communication since AOS bill was generated, I don't know whether I should go ahead and pay the $400 fee now, or wait to receive something from them to say to do so.

Alright my VJ experts, you've been through this, what should I do? :)

This is a tough call. My IV fee bill also said it was ready to be paid before I rec'd confirmation that my DS-3032 was accepted. I had read where others who paid it before being notified ended up having issues, but others did not. Mine was available on a Friday and I waited until Monday to see if I got notification, but I did not, so I went ahead and paid it. I ended up receiving notification during the night on Monday though so it was already on it's way I guess. There are others who have waited (I think Carlish did). I know that probably doesn't help you a lot but I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's your call.

Yup. I waited for the bill to be generated before paying it. I also read about those who paid earlier without notification, and their cases were delayed as the system wasn't recognizing that they paid the fee already. But most here never encountered that same problem. So it's really up to you.

Great to see everyone's progress.....sent in DS 230 package today- and I just spoke to NVC - they confirmed that my AOS package has been accepted. Thank God! My hubby and I , checked and rechecked everything. So hopefully all will be well.

Sombercat....looks like the Montreal Interviews are moving along.....and we are both proceeding at the same pace.....it won't be long....

Rehan....doesn't an NVC error qualify you for an expedite? Maybe you should call NVC and speak to a supervisor....I am not sure but it won't hurt to try...

I am so grateful for this site.....you guys are the best! :energy::energy:

Question: when you say in your timelines "I-864 package received" by that you mean that the cover sheet has been generated, correct?

I mean, i don't need to wait for anything else to be sent to me if I paid the bill and have the cover sheet with barcode?

Carlish,

I am looking at your time line and cannot believe it has been a month already since your case number was assigned. I feel like it was just yesterday that the whole NVC thing started developing ... I guess I was so prepared for this process to take like a year, so I am pretty shocked that it's going so fast for all of us:)

Hi All,

Question to all of you who submitted there DS-230.. while I was prepearing my DS-230 I saw the requirement for the photographs..

its 2 x 2 inch ( 5 x 5 cms).. has all of you followed this or may be in your respective countries the PPP size is smaller than that and your provided what you had. FOr me it looks like I received 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch ppp....

can anyone of you please confirm...

and also has anyone send in the Notorized photocopies instead of the original documents.. or do we need to send in the original documents...

I know its written there that Notorized copies will be ok but I am just curious that wut everyone of you filed...

Thanks in advance to all....and good luck to all of you for faster processing...

it has to be 2 x 2, just bring it to CVS and they'll photoshop to resize for you. i think you're talking about certified copies not notarized. notarized is when someone witness you signing a document and verifying that its a legal document. certified copy is a copy that is guarantee to be like its original and has to have the government seal. i sent in certified copies of the marriage and birth certificate, there seems to be no problems

I completely forgot about the passport photo requirements. I know that it also said for I-130 packet for photos to be 2x2, and my husband's were not, but we still didn't have any problems. I guess I better make sure I send 2x2 this time, wouldn't wanna risk anything at this stage in the game :D

Thanks for maybe saving my careless behind!
