Great then, I'll just pay the bill...

but now another question comes up is...

for filing the DS-230 should I wait for all the Documents to be collected..(I mean the passport that yet is not arrived and the PCC that comes after applied when passport comes)

or Should I file DS-230 without documents and get the RFE on case cus it may take that much time :clock: regardless...

Please Advice :help:

I'd say wait for all your documents and send them at the same time. If you're lucky, getting RFEs may delay the process a couple of weeks. But in some cases, it's taking months before the case resumes again.

When do you expect to get the passport and PCCs?

Well her local Police clearance was done on Wednesday this week on 04-22-2009... so Probably in India it takes about 10 - 15 days after that for the passport to come and once you have passport in hand and you go ahead and apply for PCC which takes about a week.. so if I take best case she will receive passport on 05-11-2009 and after that she applies for PCC and possibly she will receive it by 05-18-2009 and she sends all documents to me via express courier which I will receive it by 05-22-2009... which is for me to wait another 25 days from today to submit DS-230...

I am very sure it could be less days.. but lets see...

Right now I am contemplating sending my I-864 package in even though I didn't file taxes yet. I really want that return to show "married filed jointly", I feel like it will make us look better for NVC folks:) I can send them proof that I filed for extension... And I have transcripts for the last 3 years already.

I am thinking maybe that's better than to wait for tax form to be signed by hubby and sent back to me,then file taxes, it will take about 2 weeks to get all that in.

I was looking at Girly's speadsheet and it's estimated that our case will be complete at NVC in July, so maybe I should go ahead and send it in to save some time ... What's the fastest anyone has been approved by NVC lately, does it still take that long?

ah, decisions, decisions...

I'd file without the 2008 taxes because I have a feeling that you're going to run into issues filing without his SSN.

I agree...wait for all the documents. No sense in causing red flags with RFE's if you don't need to. My SO can't get back to Senegal for another week so now I'm waiting another 21 days for his PCC's and birth cert

You can send I-864 with 2007, 2006, and 2005 transcripts plus the proof that you filed for extension for 2008 return. Champi did the same thing and her case was approved last week after less than 2 weeks of being reviewed.

Full moon is May 9th at 4:03am Greenwich Time - so I'd say 3 days before or after that is when baby will here. Of course with more info I could give a better guess, LOL - it's all just numbers and stats!

As for the status of your packages, why don't you talk to an operator and inquire about them? They can give you more details and information about your case.

What am I missing?

You're missing the 2x2 passport photos for each of you family member.

As I was looking at your list, I realized that I didn't submit 2 photocopies of the biographic page of my husband passport. I only submitted 1 photocopy. Yikes!

I remember reading the instructions about making sure to make photocopies of the original and certified documents, it never crossed my mind that the biographic page of the passport was part of it (as I don't consider it an original doc). I hope NVC let it slip and make a photocopy of it themselves instead of issuing a RFE. Getting an RFE because of it would be suck big time!

What am I missing?

You're missing the 2x2 passport photos for each of you family member.

As I was looking at your list, I realized that I didn't submit 2 photocopies of the biographic page of my husband passport. I only submitted 1 photocopy. Yikes!

I remember reading the instructions about making sure to make photocopies of the original and certified documents, it never crossed my mind that the biographic page of the passport was part of it. I hope NVC let it slip and make a photocopy of it themselves instead of issuing RFE. Getting an RFE because of it would be suck big time!

Thank You Thank You Thank You !!! I totally forgot !!! Calling the wife now!!!
