I just called NVC and the operator confirmed that they received the AOS package last April 17. According to her, it is currently being processed and reviewed.

No RFEs please!!

Carlish - just out of curiosity, what is your message saying on the AVR?

eklondon - I promise I won't send any emails either. :star: Then again, I've never sent them one, so I'm not really saving you much. That is total ####### that you have to wait because of their mistake.

Took me a while but was given a different email address so they can update the error faster. So send you emails away to the regular NVC email !!

I am shocked beyond shocked. I got tired of hearing the AVR say that my IV fee needs paid (already did that earlier this week), so I decided to talk to a real person. She was very nice and said that my AOS package was entered into the system on Tuesday (4/21) and that my DS-230 package was entered into the system today. I thought for sure she just meant scanned into the system because I just sent the DS-230 and it was rec'd yesterday, so I asked her. She said no that it had been scanned in yesterday and was officially entered into the system today. I about fell over. I laughed and said, "Wow that was fast! One day turn around?" She laughed pretty hard herself and said she couldn't believe it either. So I guess we're completely in the system. Now for my new mantra... please no RFEs, please no RFEs, please no RFEs, please no RFEs. :P

A few more questions guys........hehe

By tomorrow afternoon I should have the 400.00 deposited into my bank accnt back in the u.s so that I can make the IV bill payment right away......but I'm worried that my joint sponsor may take upto 2 weeks or longer to get all his tax info ready to send with the aos packet (I know I know....should have taken care of all of that earlier.....*shrugs*) so I'm afraid that if I pay the IV bill now and they send my husband the IV packet and he signs it and sends it back and by that time if we still arent ready for the aos packet..........will that cause an issue with nvc that they still haven't received the aos packet? I mean other than delaying the case of course.....would it cause any issues if they recieve our ds230 much much before our aos packet???

Also, will my husband or I receive the iv packet in the mail or in email to download? I'm asking because if it comes to my u.s address than it would take quite some time to get here....and if it comes to his address here in pakistan than it might be okay....but email would still be faster though. And does anyone know what is in the iv packet other than the ds230 form? And is the aos packet only the i864 form and just your own financial docs...no other form right?

Oh and should I use the i864ez or i864......and wouldn't the joint sponsor use the same as myself?

Phew.......sorry to bother you guys. It's just that the guides and shortcuts have only caused me confusion so far and I find much more comfort in asking you guys....who have already mostly experienced all of this. :)

the IV bill will be emailed to you along with the instructions. you should submit the ds230 right now so you can prepare for a RFE if it happens. u will use the I-864 and your joint sponsor too. and make sure your joint sponsor submit evidence of citizenship or lawful residence

You have a year to file the AOS package so don't worry. My package was:

1. My cover letter

2. Barcoded cover letter

3. I-864

4. 2008 taxes

5. 2008 w-2's & 1099

6. Employment letter

7. This years paystubs

You will only receive the cover sheet for the IV packet, it will be a download like the AOS packet.

Congrats carlish and Sombercat!

Sucks don't it kevin!!

I mailed my AOS off today. Not sure when I'll get the IV bill because I just mailed the DS3032 on Monday. Maybe Wednesday next week. But then I'll be waitin' like Kevin because my husbands police certs and birth cert won't get here until the 8th at the earliest.

Did you also Emailed the DS3032 or not, if you did then it takes 8 to 10 days for them to accept the email.

Also even though my bill is generated and even if I pay it today, I'll have to wait for my wife's passport to come and the for her PCC to come as well.. which she will have to apply once the passport comes... hoping it will happen soon enough before May 10th..

We're on the same boat!! I listened to the AVR this morning and was shocked that the IV package was in their system already (they just got it yesterday). I had to be sure so I talked to the operator to get more information. She was very help and confirmed that the AOS package was entered into the system last April 17, and the IV packaged was scanned yesterday and is in the system as well. :star:

Lets just hope and pray that we'll hear back from NVC and hear the magic word, "CASE COMPLETE". Goodluck to both of us. :star:

Chrissy, any news on your packages? I can only assume that yours have been entered into the system as well.

Goodluck! Hope things will go smoothly with your AOS. At least you'll get your AOS package approved right around the time you submit your IV one. :star:

You should be fine. Though you will get a false RFE if you don't submit the AOS package after the IV package has been approved and reviewed. There's no need to worry as they will resume the review as soon as you submit the AOS package.

Finally, my DS-3032 sent via email was accepted today morning. I am definitely sure they did not received the hard copy of DS-3032 yet..

That's good news! Things will go faster now. You'll probably get the IV fee bill generated on Monday or Tuesday. :star:
