My money order was finally cashed yesterday!! What a relief I was starting to think they had lost it!! Well now the wait begins for the NOA1!

Where did you get your money order? If you purchased it through the post office you will have to go to the post office and ask them to check for you if the money order has been cashed. I got my money order through money gram and I just call the number on the receipt and enter the money order number and the system tells me the status.

I know it's only been 2 days since they received my packet but I just can't help myself wondering whether they've cashed my money order yet....and what they're probably doing with my packet now......I did not realize that waiting like this is as difficult as it is until it happened to me. God I just wish the misery stops soon and they send me my noa1 soon.

Hey, do you guys think I should call the uscis and try to get someone to talk to (I've done it 3-4 times before when my parents were petitioning my brother and sister and got through to reps each time). Do you think they would be able to tell me anything about what's going on with the packet or....well....anything?

I also sent in a Money Order. You can check to see if they cashed it. Their should be an 800 # on the back of the money order that you can call and enter the # on the front of it and it will tell you if it has been cashed. I sent in my I-130 last Monday, they received it on Tuesday and they still have not cashed in the money order! I starting to get a little worried....

OMG!!! I am a little relieved to read this!!! They received my package a day after yours ( on the 11th of Feb ), so that means my money orders should be cashed really soon too!!! What a relief somehow! Thanks for posting this as i was checking the status of my MOs and they were still outstanding. Hopefully this weekend, they will clear! ( I got my Money Orders through money Gram as well )

They are probably going to cash your MO today. They cash mine yesterday but when I called yesterday it said the MO was still outstanding. Then when I called today it wouldn't give me any information and would try to transfer me to an agent. The agent was the one who told me it was cashed yesterday.

waiting is extremely nerve racking....I'm so desperate to get "some" sort of info on what might be going on right now........does anyone think I might get somewhere by asking a uscis rep about my package by giving them my name maybe money order number and also parcel number????? Could they tell me ANYTHING?

I didn't have a clue this would suck so badly...I've only got 14 more days to wait for noa1....then I'm gone to paki and will have to wait for my mother to forward me any correspondence....which she will do whenever she wants which could be.......a month later for all I know (well, no,not really but still it'll sure feel like a month I'm sure.).It's been 4 days today since they received my packet, which is not long at all but....I pray to god that I get my noa1 soon...and hopefully before I leave as to take the pressure off....

Sorry....just needed to vent a little.

Just checked this morning and nopem check has yet to be cashed, Mind you the bank hasn't opened yet. I'll let you know later on today.
