ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't for the life of myself find a 2008 1099 (I have the 3 years before!) I emailed the company and all they can send me is the information that goes on the 1099 form - not a copy of the actual form. Called NVC to see if this would work - she said NO. She told me to send in the transcript - only problem is that I just sent in the amendment yesterday so who know when the "right" transcript will be ready, I have a copy of the one before I made the amendment which excluded my son. NOW WHAT?? Do I send the AOS packet in with the "info" I got and hope they accept it and order the transcript later in case they don't???

I would just send the AOS packet with whatever you have. Also write a note explaining the amendment done to your return and add "transcript will be available upon request at a later date, if required."

OUCH! Love being able to use work printers!

So true! :D

Carlish, I agree with WhidbeyGirl. I think the instructions package is the Cover Sheet for the IV package (with the link to the documents that you needed to send in).

It wasn't an e-mail or anything, so don't worry.

I'm beginning to think it's the instructions package once the case is completed.

I should just search the forum, does anyone have a toll free number for NVC. I received the 4 Packages from NVC asking me to pay the $70 fee to begin the process. It's telling me that I have to pay the fee 4 times (Under the impression that i would only be charge once for all 4)?

Thanks

Also received the DS-3032 - do I wait until fee is paid to submit?

Gonna have to call NVC... found this,

I paid the AOS fee for one case; do I have to pay the same fee for my other cases?

If you are a U.S. citizen with petitions for your spouse and/or child(ren) processing at the National Visa Center concurrently, you only need to submit one Affidavit of Support fee payment. (Note: if you are paying by cashier's check or money order, please mail all fee bills in one return envelope with one check on top.)

BUT, they sent me 4 invoices and 4 invoice receipt numbers

I know, I know, I have asked this question million times already, but I am so freaked out :)

I ended up filing for tax extension, so here I am ready to tackle the tax issue again:)

I intend to print out a 1040 tax return form, married filing jointly. Where it asks for my husband's social security number, I wrote "none"

I will send this 1040 to him to sign and return to me. Then, I will attach his signed W7 application and a certified copy of his passport to the 1040 and together with our marriage certificate and my W2 send it all to IRS.

Is this the right way to file taxes? If not, please give me a dummy proof answers,as I obviously don't know how to handle this:)

Your help is very much appreciated

ummmm did mine on turbotax.com and answered all their questions and they determined I didn't need to claim my husband, so just file as head of household.

Carlish - just out of curiosity, what is your message saying on the AVR?

eklondon - I promise I won't send any emails either. :star: Then again, I've never sent them one, so I'm not really saving you much. That is total ####### that you have to wait because of their mistake.
