Am I going blind or the spreadsheet is missing a column for when we return the IV package?

Nope you're not blind. I didn't have that column because it's not on the timeline as a date. I can add it though - just for you carlish (L)

Your wish is my command - all done.

It will have to be a self reported step though because there is no line on the timelines for me to read dates, so for our silent members I won't have a date.

Sooooo, I have been waiting and waiting for my NOA2 and guess what.

IT STILL HASN'T ARRIVED !

But, today (just got a text from roommate) received 4 Letters in the mail from NVC with NVC Case Numbers !!! This is good Yes?

Why did I not receive an NOA2?

Congratulations on NVC Case# and other letters.. simply call USCIS or wait few more days for NOA2.. you should get it..

Good Luck

Is it necessary to call USCIS? What number do I call? Do I need the hard copies to continue with NVC?

I don't really know, The same happened to me, I got my NVC number and all that on the mail on monday, no NOA2, i don't know why. I asked and I think we only need it for our files.

congrats on the NVC Case number!!!

There seems to be a real rash of people not getting NOA2 notices lately. I can't imagine opening the mailbox and finding mail from the NVC when you never knew you were approved in the first place. That has to hit you pretty funny.

Carlish - glad you got your DS-230 package sent. I won't bother calling to check if my AOS package has been entered since you said yours hasn't and mine was sent after yours and Chrissy's.

Chrissy - pure craziness. I'm interested to see what your husband finds when he speaks to the consulate.

Oh is a funny thing, my husband was looking through the mail and he was like look it seems like we got something about the visa, and I was like yeees finally NOA2 and he's like but it didn't come from california and i was like what do you mean? and he shows it to me and I see National Visa Center in the envelope, I started jumping! I couldn't believe it, It was good and weird cause we didn't know if it would be ok even without NOA2 :D

My guess is that the instruction package is the cover sheet???

I cannot tell you how BAD it feels to be one of the last 12 on the spreadsheet to not been approved. :crying:

I'm sorry Betsy. Yours will be coming.

Carlish, I agree with WhidbeyGirl. I think the instructions package is the Cover Sheet for the IV package (with the link to the documents that you needed to send in).

It wasn't an e-mail or anything, so don't worry.

Oh my gosh Mumtaz! Congratulations!!! You better put another ticker in your signature girl :)))

LOL....will do that vareska. Though at the moment my signature is full to the brim and near exploding level....hehe. I think I'll wait till I have less packets or things to wait for from nvc or the embassy to do that....but soon....inshallah very soon.

Plus.....I just received more good news guys!!! My ds3032 was accepted today and just got the email in my inbox and one also in my hubs inbox too! Also just got both the receipt(barcode) and cover letter emailed to my email account....will be printing those out tonight. Also got the letter mentioning the IV bill and packet........and also called to check avr and found out they're waiting for aos packet and iv bill and packet now! Wow....and I was beginning to think I'd run out of my luck!!! But thank god i'm a lucky feb filer.......or otherwise I might have had to deal with that! But I don't so WOOHOO!!!!!

Will be paying the IV bill tomorrow sometime......though it might take till the day after for my mother to pickup the western union transfer and deposit it into my bank account....so maybe then. Haven't completely gathered all my necessary documents for aos yet.......I mean I'm not THAT irresponsible.....I've got all of my stuff together but am waiting on joint sponsor to get theirs' together so I can finish it up.

Shipping costs boatloads here....especially if I opt to send it 2-3 day delivery...or international express (if they even have that here?) But what choice do I have....what must be done must be done right? Also.....I was wondering......would anyone know what would happen if I sent the aos packet from my address in pakistan with myname above it.....I'm asking because that address is listed as my husbands address in ds3032 and other nvc files.....would that be a problem? I hopenot...because I'd rather not have to go the long route and send it to my mom and thenhave her express it to the nvc...thats too complicated for her.lol.

Thank you sooooo much everyone for all of your support!!!!! I love you guys! :D

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't for the life of myself find a 2008 1099 (I have the 3 years before!) I emailed the company and all they can send me is the information that goes on the 1099 form - not a copy of the actual form. Called NVC to see if this would work - she said NO. She told me to send in the transcript - only problem is that I just sent in the amendment yesterday so who know when the "right" transcript will be ready, I have a copy of the one before I made the amendment which excluded my son. NOW WHAT?? Do I send the AOS packet in with the "info" I got and hope they accept it and order the transcript later in case they don't???

That makes me feel better then :)

It's a printing palooza over here, I am printing all instructions for AOS package, and this time I intend to read thoroughly so that I don't post stupid questions here :)

I intend to go post office today and send the 1040 form for my husband to sign. He's already got the police certificate ready, certified passport, passport photos, so he can send me everything together with the signed 1040.

Now I am trying to find my paystubs for the last 6 months, although I know that I don't keep many of those suckers since I have direct deposit, so I will just submit whatever I have ...

So far I have spent over $200 in ink cartridges in preparation of the documents, isn't that crazy?
