Don't know if I should post this here or under NVC forum.

Question: On the I-864 form Question # 25 - Federal Tax Return Information

I have filed my 2008 taxes (was only for 4800.00, only work 4 weeks in USA)

For 2009 I am salary at 65,000.00

I am planning on submitting

2008 tax transcript

Letter from employer

all paystubs from 2008/2009

Is this enough to submit? Or do I have to finish my 2006 and 2007 taxes submit them to IRS and wait upto 8 weeks for them the IRS to complete. (Long story why this hasn't been done), do I even check the box saying that I have submitted the last 3 years?

I re-read the question and I think I know the answer. I do not need to submit the last 3 years to NVC, I just need to have files them? Correct?

And with 2008 being so low, does that matter?

I believe for 2008 you need to submit your tax forms and W-2's. I think transcript option is only for the previous three years if you are submitting those. Also the employer letter and paystubs.

If the transcript is available for 2008, you can submit it. If not, the 1040 with W2s and 1099s are fine too.

Yes guys PLEASE don't forget about us still waiting for NOA2. I know I can tell you I am feeling really alone right now and your support means so much!!!

Cheer up! There are some people in this forum who have filed last year and still haven't received NOA2s. You need to stay positive. Yours will come when the time is right.

tax forms, just a copy of the 1040 I submitted to IRS? and after filing my 2008 taxes I am left with only one 1/4 of my W2, is that what I send? But I also need to file my 2006 / 2007 taxes with IRS prior to sending the I-184 ?

I'd send a copy of the W2. Since the question asks for the amounts of 06 & 07 either yes you need to file or you need a letter explaining why you didn't.

Ok silly question, I payed the AOS bill and sent the choice of agent yesterday so now I just have to wait? I have all my papers ready since I'm in the states with my hubby I prepared all my papers before coming like the police certificate (wich someone told me i may not need later...) and all that stuff so I just have to wait? or there's something I have to do? fill forms? or something? I hate to just wait so if i have to do something the wait would be easier.

How's everyone's else cases doing?

Sooooo, I have been waiting and waiting for my NOA2 and guess what.

IT STILL HASN'T ARRIVED !

But, today (just got a text from roommate) received 4 Letters in the mail from NVC with NVC Case Numbers !!! This is good Yes?

Why did I not receive an NOA2?

I spoke to a representative earlier today while I was at lunch.

Our expedite is still awaiting approval... she said that it gets sent to Naples and they are the ones that make the decision. So, NVC is waiting to hear back from Naples. Frankly, I don't believe her. So, my husband is going to call the consulate tomorrow and see if they received our request. If not, he is going to describe the situation and ask Naples to request our documents from NVC. Hopefully, we will get some good news from them. I think His_Wifey went through a similar situation (at Naples too) and after they called the consulate to inquire about the expedite, Naples requested their case from NVC the next day. So, let's keep our fingers crossed that we will be that lucky.

As for the AOS and IV packages, the representative confirmed that they received them last week and she told me to allow some time for processing (and to call back sometime next week).

So, I guess they don't update the AVR until the packages are approved and/or the case is complete.

I guess that is all for now.

Yay! That's good news! Here hoping Naples comes through for you guys!

As for the my IV package, I finally mailed it today via USPS Express Mail overnight service. The AOS package still not in the NVC system as of today's AVR. The rep told me the same thing about waiting for few days or so to get it processed.

I don't really know, The same happened to me, I got my NVC number and all that on the mail on monday, no NOA2, i don't know why. I asked and I think we only need it for our files.

There seems to be a real rash of people not getting NOA2 notices lately. I can't imagine opening the mailbox and finding mail from the NVC when you never knew you were approved in the first place. That has to hit you pretty funny.

Carlish - glad you got your DS-230 package sent. I won't bother calling to check if my AOS package has been entered since you said yours hasn't and mine was sent after yours and Chrissy's.

WOO HOO!!!!

Not sure why this has happened you are like the 3rd person I know of. Maybe something is messed up with the CSC mailing system!

When you get home tell me the date of the letters and I'll update you on the spreadsheet.
