I am so happy that you guys are flying through NVC process. I am loving it. :jest: How about NOA2s? They stopped!!! I think once I get the NVC case number, I will go with the same speed. My AOS documents are almost ready, but my wife needs to get her passport and Police Report, so I am not that worried. Best of luck to all of you and also to those still waiting for NOA2!!!!!

Husband got PCC on the SAME DAY he requested it in Nigeria - BLOW ME AWAY!!!!! GOD IS AWESOME!!! Today he goes to the courts for affidavit for birth certificate! He could be back on a plane back to Senegal on Thursday to get his PCC from them and then send them off to me!!

Whew!! I know you thought it was going to take quite a while so I'm so happy for you! :star:

Hi Everyone... it is so nice to see that you are all moving in NVC.

We sent the DS-230 last Thursday. FedEx confirmed it was delivered Friday morning, but I don't know if it has been entered into the NVC system yet. The AVR is still just talking about the generation of the IV Fee Bill... so I don't think the AOS or IV packet have been enetered... which is frustrating.

So, we are just waiting for the case complete (no RFE's hopefully) and we are also waiting to hear any news at all on the expedite.

I contacted the Senator again this morning, so hopefully he will be able to help move things along. We are trying to be as patient as possible! :star:

I am going to call and talk to a representative tonight after work to see if they have received our packets and if there is anything new regarding the expedite. Otherwise, I plan on calling the Naples consulate directly and asking them to request our case from NVC. Some other people have done this and it seems to work... it is worth a try, right??

Just curious, how long does it take to hear about an expedite? I realize that's probaby a rhetorical question, but GEEZ! One would think that since the point of an expedite request is to speed things up, they might speed up the actual request itself! Look at me, I'm venting on your behalf.

Terrific point Rehan - what the heck happened to the NOA2s? Is anyone at CSC getting any? It seems like it's been really quiet.

Terrific point Rehan - what the heck happened to the NOA2s? Is anyone at CSC getting any? It seems like it's been really quiet.

Sombercat... my thoughts exactly. I am not really sure what the point of an expedite request is if it takes them over 2 weeks just to process it. I mean, it is not like it is another whole petition or package. The request was an e-mail which consisted of literally 3 paragraphs and then a letter from my doctor that was another 2 paragraphs. I am sure someone has had time to read it in the past two weeks. You would think they would be inclined to move a little faster, since it is an expedite... but what do I know? But, thank you for venting on our behalf. It is nice to know that I am not the only one that thinks it is crazy.

I felt really stupid contacting the Senator this morning requesting "an expedite of the expedite request". How ridiculous does that sound?? But, I have a feeling it is just sitting in someone's e-mail inbox untouched... while we are here praying that little Sofia hangs on for a few more weeks, so that maybe... just maybe... ben can be here too. I mean, I am pretty sure it is one of the most important moments of your life and I really don't want him to miss out on that experience.

So, I guess I will do the only thing that I can do right now... go to bed and hope for some better news tomorrow. :star:

WOOHOO!!! AOS FEE PAID as of 21st of April(yesterday)! Finally....I was beginning to get worried!

Though....I called nvc today and the avr says they will be sending out my aos package now......that definitely is big reassurance but how come I can't see the ds230 fee amount and also how come I can't click or select it to pay yet? Does this mean they will let me pay it only once the aos has been generated or accepted.....errrr...what does it mean???

also, I selected to get the reciept and the cover sheet emailed to my email account rather than the print option seeing as I don't have a printer hooked up to this laptop here.....and will have to print it out at a friends house..........but i havent recieved that email yet? email usually doesn't even take 5 minutes......in fact thats pretty slow. so...hmmmm.

Chrissy e Ben....I wish you the best of the best of luck on your expedite and am and will keep praying for your early interview!!!! I totally feel for you girl!!!!! Don't let yourself get too worried about the expedite, im sure it'll help you get a interview asap! INSHALLAH(may god will it so).

And I thought I'd share some more good news with you guys.....even though it's totally off-topic......but that's us feb filers for anyone who isn't aware....hehe. Yesterday I went to the doc to get a full blood test done among other things (being in pakistan kinda makes me paranoid for hepatitis and sooooo much more..lol) and was just curious as to why I hadn't gotten my period for over 48 days.......which isn't a big deal for me, as its usual for me to miss a period or two once in a while.......but still, medical is damn cheap here so i gave it a go........and found out that same day that i am completely healthy....and totally pregnant! Even though I have PCOS and not to mention several large ovarian cysts that once my doc in the u.s saw in the ultrasound a while back she told me idhave the hardest damn time trying to conceive....maybe even impossible! But i guess......BOOYAH! LOL! I'm really excited!!! And that's nothing to how my husband reacted...lol. He's hysterical with excitement! lol. Good things seem to be happening for us.....I sure pray it stays this way for a while.....at least untill this case is complete and we're both safe and at home in NY very soon INSHALLAH! :D.

What a great news!! Congratulations to you and your husband!

As for the DS-230 fee bill, it will become available to pay once NVC accepts your choice of address/agent form. It should happen in few days.
