Hi guys,

Has anyone sent in their DS-230 package yet? My payment posted this morning, so I just got back from the post office. Just wondering if anyone else is at this stage? Holliday and Carlish - sending it any time soon? Chrissy e Ben filed theirs last week and hopefully will get approved soon so they may get the interview date they want. Just wondering who I get to sit around and sweat with for the next few weeks. lol Fortunately I have to leave for California for six days late next week so I can at least sweat in the sun by the pool. Oh wait, I'm supposed to be at a work conference. ;)

I'm planning to mail my DS-230 package tomorrow via USPS Express Mail. I'm just waiting for a PCC from my husband. He sent it yesterday, and according to the FedEx tracking system, I'm getting it tomorrow morning.

Where in Cali are you going? It's been so hot here in the Bay Area for the last few days! Anyway, enjoy and stay safe!

Cool, we'll be sweating it out together then. Hey! I totally forgot your in CA. I'll be in Newport Beach about 11:00 Friday (5/1) morning. The best part of this is that my husband is going too. We work for the same company and have similar jobs. We call this trip our anniversary even though it's really not. We met at it six years ago and that's how our friendship started. Even though it's a work thing, there is plenty of free time too, so we're really looking forward to it. I've checked it out on the Internet and it seems like a nice area, but you would know better than me. Will I enjoy it?

Realistically, mine won't be sent out until early next week. It all depends on when my Police Certificate reaches my husband.

Actually, I'm the USC. My husband is the Canadian. So for me to run to the post office is only 5 minutes down the road. lol If your DS-3032 is accepted, you should get the IV bill any day now.

Nah, that was me. :) And I didn't end up going, because it took an extra week to get my police certificate, and I haven't had any time off during business hours to drive down there. So I just mailed it from here.

Hi Everyone... it is so nice to see that you are all moving in NVC.

We sent the DS-230 last Thursday. FedEx confirmed it was delivered Friday morning, but I don't know if it has been entered into the NVC system yet. The AVR is still just talking about the generation of the IV Fee Bill... so I don't think the AOS or IV packet have been enetered... which is frustrating.

So, we are just waiting for the case complete (no RFE's hopefully) and we are also waiting to hear any news at all on the expedite.

I contacted the Senator again this morning, so hopefully he will be able to help move things along. We are trying to be as patient as possible! :star:

I am going to call and talk to a representative tonight after work to see if they have received our packets and if there is anything new regarding the expedite. Otherwise, I plan on calling the Naples consulate directly and asking them to request our case from NVC. Some other people have done this and it seems to work... it is worth a try, right??

That means they do put the received of AOS documents status into AVR correct...

Just to make their life easier..

I was just thinking at this what if NVC started getting documents from us electronically instead of mailing.. like we scan them and send it to them...

- Wut will happen to USPS and FedEx?

- Will this option ever come.. to make the process faster..

- ...

- ...

on and on
