I'll make the update!

I read somewhere that it may go back to "processing" from "paid" status or even back to "unpaid" status. Just wait another day and it will be fine.

I received my DS3032 and AOS bill today!!!! Paid them and sent via snail mail the DS3032. I'd do the email one, but husband arrived in Nigeria yesterday to get is PCC and I'm not sure he's going to have much internet access. Besides, it's going to take a week for him to get the PCC, and then another 2 weeks after he mails them for me to get them so we are pretty much at a standstill now until they get here.

Congrats estrella!

ok guys, I-864 was sent in today. now just waiting for the IV bill to generate and send out the DS-230. anyone have any idea on how to get an interview date? i ask the operator and he told me that they schedule interviews on the second week of every month. so i guess we'll get a june interview if our case gets complete before may 8th? any ideas?

I think that's how it works. But some people had been successful in getting interview dates as soon as their cases were complete.

I wouldn't look for it to be paid until tomorrow. Mine took two days also. Regarding the money coming out of your bank account, my didn't come out until two days after it said PAID on the payment website. I thought that was really weird. I was checking my bank account to see if it was paid yet because it's faster to get in there than on the immigrantvisas.state.gov site and on the second day, I decided just for the heck of it to check the visa site instead of the bank account. I'm glad I did because it was marked paid and my cover sheet with the barcode was ready to be printed out, so don't worry about the money not being gone from your account. They'll get it eventually for sure. lol

Hey guys! I've been away for awhile, and I come back with good weird news, I didn't get my NOA2, I don't know why or how, I was starting to go crazy over it and today we got the choice of agent letter and NVC number and all, I'm wondering if is ok I mean I'm happy to know our case is moving but I didn't get NOA2 so i don't know... If someone knows I would appreciate the help

I was reading somehere in the forum that the same thing happend with another member. You know something, USCIS is really funny. I actually got two NOA2s at the same day and I know if I call USCIS, they won't have any answer as online system still says my case is pending. Anyway, you got it the NVC case number, Congratulations!!! I would not suggest to call USCIS because even if you speak with IO, he/she will tell you that they mailed an NOA2. But it's up to you!! Best of luck to you!!!!

I read that too. I think sometimes they have a mail issue. I would probably call USCIS and ask them to send another copy and confirm that they have your mailing address right. You don't necessarily have to have it, but it would be good for your file. BTW, big congrats!! Talk about a big surprise! Now you can call the NVC and give them your email addresses so you won't have to rely on snail mail anymore.

OK people who are doing this now...

I'm trying to get things ready and request my tax transcripts now. Optimism...

I know the 2008s aren't available.

So, for 2006 and 2007 WHICH transcript did you use? The 4506-T has two options.

Return Transcript, which includes most of the line items of a tax return as filed with the IRS. Transcripts are only available for

the following returns: Form 1040 series, Form 1065, Form 1120, Form 1120A, Form 1120H, Form 1120L, and Form 1120S.

Return transcripts are available for the current year and returns processed during the prior 3 processing years. Most requests

will be processed within 10 business days

Account Transcript, which contains information on the financial status of the account, such as payments made on the account, penalty

assessments, and adjustments made by you or the IRS after the return was filed. Return information is limited to items such as tax liability

and estimated tax payments. Account transcripts are available for most returns. Most requests will be processed within 30 calendar days

Obviously time is not the issue...I just want to get this right the first time.

Thanks!

I got the standard transcripts for the 1040 series, so I'm not much help. However, I do want to say that depending on when you filed, the transcripts for 2008 may already be available. I've read several posts that say they're not available until May or June, but I got mine at the end of March. Granted I filed the first week of February so I'm sure that made a difference.

You can get an interview in June? You stink! Just kidding of course. I'm just jealous since my embassy is backed up a few months.

In the Canadian forum we track everyone's process that's going to interview at Montreal. It's a handy little chart that Trailmix keeps for us.

You can also got to the "Embassy Info" link at the top of the page and there is plenty of helpful info there. I just went there and it said that wait time was just 2 weeks - WOW! But it also said to expect 2nd or 3rd interviews - ugh!

I requested the standard transcripts as well. If you filed the 2008 return online, the transcript should be available 10 days after you filed.

Yep, that would be the ones. I'm glad you and Carlish have both said that you got your transcripts for 2008 also because I've seen numerous posts in other threads that have told people they can't get them until May or June and that's not completely correct. I'm sure if you wait until April 15th to file, it's probably true, but I had a nice chunk of change coming back so I filed fast.

Actually, I haven't gotten my 2008 transcript yet as I only filed my return last April 14. But since I filed online, the IRS CSR said that I can request the transcript within 10 days. But if you filed in snail mail, it may take at least 6 weeks.

For the I-864, included my transcripts for 2005-2007 as well as copies of my 2008 returns (1040, W2, and 1099). I wrote a note that I intend to file on or before April 15.
