Congrats to the newest NOA2 recipients! :dance: :dance:

As for my case, NVC finally accepted the DS-3032 yesterday per the AVR. I'm not sure if they accepted the email version or the hardcopy they received yesterday. I didn't get an email confirmation or anything like that. :unsure:

Same here! I may call NVC later to speak with an operator to see if they accepted the email or the hardcopy, just out of curiosity.

Also, my AOS package was delivered yesterday, and I'm just waiting on the IV bill now. It's an odd feeling to be looking forward to a $400 bill!

Haha! So true! I want to pay that bill so badly right now. LOL

I would think that they accepted the email version I sent on April 3. But they also received the hardcopy yesterday. I doubt they processed it upon arrival.

Hey carlish and holliday... I am assuming they accepted your e-mailed copy of the ds3032 because I decided to just send a hard copy (that they received on Friday morning, April 10) and it still hasn't been accepted yet.

As for updates on our case, I am FINALLY sending out the I-864 today while I am at lunch. It has been an absolute nightmare getting all of the 1099s together from my parents... I never knew they had so many investments... at times like these, I wish they didn't, hahaha.

Congrats to everyone who is moving along the NVC process. So much good news today!

And if you are still waiting for your NVC number... we waited 17 days for ours. So just try to be patient... take the time to get everything else ready to go so you can fly through NVC once you get your number. :star:

Hmmm, maybe our DS-3032 has been not accepted yet. The AVR said "received". I guess "received" and "accepted" are not the same thing. LOL So I'll just wait till they "accepted" or processed the DS-3032. Bummer!!

Anyway, to those who are still waiting for their NVC case numbers, just hang in there. :star:

hi all!

Quick question for all folks at NVC. When NVC accept your DS3032 and email you the DS230 and I-864 Fee bills, do they email you the IIN(Invoice Identification Number). I am asking this because I am reading in the NVC shortcuts that you have to call NVC and get this number from the operator. Is it true??? Just trying to understand the process!!! Thanks in advance!!!and Good luck to all still waiting for NOA2!!!!!

Guys....I need your help???

Yesterday I emailed my ds3032 from my husbands email address and I got this auto response a few minutes later I assume.....I just checked it today though.

PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS AUTOMATED NOTIFICATION

Please be advised that, as of April 4th, 2008, our office revised our

guidelines for communication between the National Visa Center and the

public. We are now required to verify case specific information each

time we receive an inquiry.

According to U.S. law, the National Visa Center is only permitted to

discuss details of a visa case with authorized representatives and when

provided with all of the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth

* Beneficiary's name and date of birth

* Your full name

If you are the legal representative, and your G-28, Notice of Entry of

Appearance as Attorney or Representative, is not on file at the NVC,

please include a copy of your signed G-28 showing that you are the legal

representative as well as the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth or Beneficiary's name and

date of birth

* Attorney's law firm name

* Attorney's law firm address

* Your full name

If you are corresponding regarding an I-140 petition you must provide

the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Name of the petitioning company

* Beneficiary's name and date of birth

* Your full name

If you are the petitioner, principal applicant or legal representative,

please notify the National Visa Center with any changes to your mailing

address, email address or phone numbers.

Please include this required information on all future inquiries

directed to the NVC. If this information has not been submitted with

your inquiry it will be requested.

Please do not respond to this inquiry.

Thank you,

National Visa Center

Nationality Act (INA) [8 US C. Section 1202]. Access to and use of such

upon this information, and contact the sender as soon as possible.

What does this mean? Do they require me/my husband to resubmit the same info??? They're asking for the same things. Petitioners name and email and nvc case number and the likes....I already submitted that as the ds3032....hence the auto response. So what are they asking for. I emailed it again from my husbands email address and then thought of something....maybe they aren't accepting it from my husbands address because the email address they have on file, the one the operator took down to email me the ds3032 was my own, not my husbands. So I went ahead and emailed the same ds3032 through mine....and got the same auto response a minute afterwards? What's going on guys?

Is this just a general auto response....did everyone who submitted get the same thing? I'm pretty worried about this.....what could I have done wrong. All of the info I used was correct....exactly as the operator told me. Exactly as is on my noas. Is this normal.....no one has mentioned it before...

Also, I was wondering.....I just read in this same thread that someone said they were waiting to pay the IV bill....which they said was $400!!! Okay.....I didn't know that.....I honestly thought it was $70 or $80 or something around that amount? Is this true....because I can swear I read that there were only 2 bills needed to be paid afterwards of the $300+ petition fee and those were the aos fee bill which I believe is either $70 or $80(sorry may have mixed the two up) and the IV ds230 bill which is the same....$70 or $80.....am I right. Or am I about to be very very shocked...lol.

From my understanding there will be 2 bills that need to be paid one at $400 and the other $70

Here is my payment schedule

Payments I will have to make? And at what point do these payments need to be made?

I-130: $355 x 4 = $1420- Done

NVC I-864: $70 (only one time for all 4?)

NVC Visa fee: $400 ($355+$45) x 4 = $1600

Our NOA2 was issued on 4/3, but I had decided not to call right away since I am still waiting on paperwork from my husband before we can pursue the next stage. Well, I decided today I cannot wait any longer, so now the frantic phone calls to NVC will ensue:)

Called them a minute ago, no case # assigned yet, so that kinda makes me feel good :) This way it's their fault and I am not procrastinating:)
