So good to hear that VSC is finally moving! I am sure the rest of you will get your NOA2's very soon! :)

It took us 17 days to get our NVC number... so just try to be patient and check the AVR often for updates (and speak to a Representative every now and then too).

Some good news for us today, too... we just got the DS3032 e-mail as well as the AOS (I-864) Fee Bill. I already paid the fee bill and the status shows as "IN PROCESS". :D

I am getting ready to e-mail the DS3032 within the next few minutes and plan to send it in the regular mail tomorrow morning.

I just sent the NVC my expedite request at like midnight last night, so I think this is just a coincidence.

We're thinking happy thoughts for all of you!! (L)

Hi again good night.

Someone knows how much takes NVC to give to you a case number, since my NOA2 was aproved on march 20 and is like 19 days without case number, as always thx alot for ur help

And Good Luck to all

Here's my log:

Each morning I called AVR and nothing was ever there.

Monday noon: Spoke with Polly she said it's not there and to check at the end of the month

Tuesday noon: Spoke with Carol she said it's not there and to check at the end of the week

Wednesday noon: Spoke with May she said it's not there and to check at the end of JUNE!!!!

You'd think there would at least be SOME consistency with the info they give out!

That's pretty funny as I haven't gotten any of those answers, but I've always gotten the same answer. I've called six different days and gotten six different people, but every single one said to allow 2-3 weeks. If someone would have told me to check at the end of June, I surely would have started laughing. How did you not laugh? Or did you?

Well kudos to you for not laughing because I sure would have. Maybe the operator was in a pissy mood today because they sure as heck were busy. It was the longest I was on hold yet - 18 minutes.

Well heck, I feel a lot better now. I have to admit that I usually call at their "off times", but not today. At one point, I had people walking past my office laughing at me. I had my office phone up to my left ear and at the same time, my cell phone rang. I didn't want to answer it, but once someone left me a message, I decided to listen to it while I was on hold. So I had the cell phone up to my right ear at the same time. It was lunch time and a parade of people were going past my office to the break room and they'd glance in while walking by and then back up to see if they saw me correctly. I'm sure I looked like an idiot. After a while, I just put my office phone on speaker and waited because my ear was starting to hurt.

Wow, that's really short. I've never had that short of a wait. I usually call about 9AM which they say is a less busy time too, but it's usually 5-10 minutes or so. Honestly kevinbui86, 10 is my bedtime. lol Gotta be up too early. Darn, I must be old. lol

ohhhh NVC...

The first time I called to speak to a Representative about our case number, she said it could take up to 90 days. The next time I called (it was after two weeks), she told me to check back in a week. So, I do not think there is any method to their repsonses at all... which is so frustrating.

The last time I called to speak to a Representative (to give them our e-mail addresses and ask about the expedite), I was on hold for over 45 minutes. It was crazy... but I was not hanging up the phone!!

I think the most hilarious part is the message that keeps rolling while you are on hold: "Your call is important to us... we're working hard to esnure that your call is taken next... etc." I can't help but laugh at it after a half hour on hold.

I am sure they have a lot to do... I am not doubting that at all... I just think they should change the pre-recorded message.

So 8 outta 33 so far - let's keep the ball rolling!!!

You're at 9 out of 33 now! I received 4 emails from NVC this evening while I was at work. I received the DS-3032 (twice!), the AOS fee bill (I was CCd on the email they sent to my husband), and the receipt for payment of the AOS fee bill. We're moving right along! This is great! I'm gonna submit the DS-3032 via email very shortly.

Good luck to everyone!

Oh yeah, and I definitely know what you guys mean about getting the run-around from the NVC operators while waiting for the case number.

This was my experience...

03/25/09 - Called NVC: "Have not received the file. It can take 2-4 weeks."

03/30/09 - Called NVC: "File is in the building, but not in the system yet."

03/31/09 - Called NVC: "Have not received the file. It can take 2-4 weeks."

04/01/09 - Called NVC: "File is in the building but not in the system yet. Should have the case # by the end of the week."

04/03/09 (a.k.a. 'the end of the week') - Called NVC, still no case #.

04/04/09 - Called NVC, checked the AVR. Case # assigned 04/03/09.

I got the abrupt scripted answers every time I called to ask. My husband got helpful answers whenever he called... perhaps that's because he has a very pleasant voice? Heheh I don't know.
