Hi whidbey girl,

why is it that when you look at Igor's list, there are still 8 of us january filers who haven't gotten our NOA2s and i remembered you said in another post the there's only 3 of us left without NOA2.

And no, i didn't get any RFEs yet, i hope i never do.

I actually wasn't referring to those who filed in January, I was talking about those who received NOA1's in January. According to the info on the timeline section at the time I wrote the post there were just 3 who hadn't received NOA2's.

Soooo, I have been freaking out all day because of the earthquake in Italy.

My husband hasn't called me all day and I couldn't get through to his cell phone (probably because the lines are down or just completely overwhelmed with people calling).

I FINALLY just talked to him about an hour ago (and the earthquake happened at like 3:30am their time... it is now like 8:30pm their time)... so I have been really worried ALL DAY.

He is okay, but the whole experience really scared me. Especially because my due date is only 5 weeks away... I thought all the stress was going to send me into pre-term labor.

I already wanted him to be here asap and this just made me want it even more. I hope all of you can have your spouses here with you soon, so that you never ever have to be as worried as I was all day today.

p.s. I do not think the organization of the package has anything to do with it. After reading some of your posts, my package was much less organized and with much less proof of a relationship. However, it may of helped that we had an i129f already approved for us last year (that we later decided not to pursue)... but, I don't know.

ohhh don't worry, I am fine.

My family is here, so I am not completely alone.

Thank you, though, for your concern.

I am just very hormonal right now, so the emotional level of everything is magnified by like 1,000.

I just want my husband to here! I am sure all of you can relate to that...

Chrissy e Ben, I'm glad your husband is alright. (My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Italy.) It's really hard to be away from our loved ones. We just hope and pray that we will all be with them sooner than later. Anyway, take care of yourself and your baby. God is great--you will be with your husband soon.

As for the rest of the team who are still waiting for their NOA2, my rooting for you guys to get yours soon. Goodluck!

You know what's so crazy and cool about this whole process? The people we meet (online) along the way. When I heard about the earthquake this morning, I immediately thought of you. I obviously don't know you, don't know your husband and don't know anything about your situation, other than that you are expecting soon, but my thoughts went to you and wondering if your husband was okay. Like I said, it's crazy but it's cool. We're all in the same boat and we're all experiencing the same things (minus the earthquake of course!) and we build a bit of a comradery no matter what country or what walk of life we're from. I'm really glad to hear everything's okay with him and take care of yourself.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and kind words!

Sombercat... I was thinking the exact same thing that you were. When I found out about the earthquake, I first talked to my family and friends and then I wanted to talk to you guys because I feel like we have all bonded by going through this process together. I know that if anything similar happened in the countries that you are all from (or your spouses), I would be worried and would definitely want to know that things were ok.

In that sense, it is nice to know that there is an upside to waiting for all this paperwork and online payments to be processed... the fact that we can all share this experience and become friends through it.

:ot2: I spoke to a representative earlier today, and was able to give her our e-mail addresses (thanks to all of you for that piece of advice). I also got some more information on how to apply for an expedite... so hopefully that will work out.

I hope everyone has a nice night, and we'll see you tomorrow!
