Got my NOA2 today! Ya! I would be more enthusiastic, but also discovered today I don't qualify as a sponsor because I have to count 2 of my children who won't be living with me so I'm short on income. I have no assets, no savings, no credit to get a loan and no friends or family who will co-sponsor. So NOA2 is all for not

You made it all the way to here, you won't give up. Congratulations on the NOA2, I'm pretty sure there will be a solution of your problem. There are no impossible things!!!

As about our NOA2 - nothing yet...

I just spoke to my husband on the phone for couple of hrs. Few hrs ago I started crying that all these ppl who filed after us got their NOA2's already, I can not check even online what's our status... So, he called USCIS, spoke to an operator, and she told him our case is not in the system yet :crying: and is pending...

I had a little hope earlier I'll be home with him in June may be... now, I hope it will be at least in the Fall

As for my case, the I-864 (AOS) fee bill showed as PAID online. I already downloaded the cover sheet, but I'm planning to send both the I-864 and DS-230 together. Hopefully I'll be able to do that in a week or so. I'm still waiting for the NVC to accept the DS-3032 form (Choice of Address and Agent) so we can pay the DS-230 (IV) fee bill.

Wow! Congrats! You're even a March filer, so that's good news for the rest of the March filers. I would suggest reading the step by step process of the CR1 and reading several of the threads for what comes next as it's long and difficult to explain. Once those have been read, then post your specific questions and you'll get a lot of help. Congrats again!

Congratulations!! Can u tell me which state you are in because it took you 14 days to get the NOA2??? Also WhidBeyGirl, can u please tell mw what date did they mail you the NOA2, I mean what was the date of mailing from CSC??? Good luck to all still waiting!!!!!!

Congrats to everyone who recently received NOA2's! That is so exciting!

The next step is to just wait it out until VSC or CSC forwards your case to the NVC. Call the AVR every single day to check for updates (and speak to a representative every once and a while just to make sure you are getting the most up-to-date information).

We actually got some good news today, too! I took a shot in the dark and called the AVR this morning, and it turns out that the NVC entered our case into the system sometime after I called them yesterday. So, we finally have our case number!

I am planning speaking with a representative on Monday morning so I can give them our e-mail addresses (thanks for the advice, carlish!) and getting some more information on how to request an expedite.

Here is an interesting piece of information, it took us 19 days to receive our NOA2 and 17 days to receive a case number from the NVC. I thought it was weird that it took almost the same amount of time... but I guess it is because we got our NOA2 really quickly.
