Whidbeygirl you are amazing to have gone to the trouble of updating the spreadsheet so soon after getting back.

I got back saturday morning from VA and am still getting over the jet lag today (overslept by 2 hours this morning and was late for work). Only thing that has been keeping me going is the NOA2!

Anyone been looking at the NVC process yet - it seems mind boggling

Also, has anyone got any advice about the vaccinations required? From the UK it appears I need an MMR, do we get these done before the medical date is set?

I notice that for those of us of " a certain age" , they require annual influenza jabs. Having spoken to my GP surgery it appears that they don't have any vaccine left for this year and only get it in in the autumn/winter. Will this be a problem?

Isn't this process fun :no::no:

Good luck to those still waiting - I'm sure good news is only around the corner.

Thanks so much!!! I think coming back to the US is definitely easier on my body than going to Senegal. I arrived at my house yesterday morning at 5:30am, took a 1 hour nap, then got up and went off to work.

It's defintely exciting to see the NOA2's coming in. We aren't financially ready for the next step though because SO has to travel to Nigeria to get his PC, so even it NOA2 comes we have to wait until end of May before he can make the trip.

HELLO ALL from Africa. I just got here on Friday morning, am having a wonderful time. I will update everyones info on the spreadsheet when I get back on the 22nd. I have been reading about all the really fast approvals - LESS THAN 40 DAYS - WOW!!!!!! I pray we all can get approvals that fast!!!

Will update everything tonight, got into bed at 5:30am this morning (home 15 hours LATER than expected) and had to get out of bed to go to work at 6:30am! OMG can you say - TIRED!!!!

Hi WhidbeyGirl,

I tried to update on my own the file with the Feb filers. There are few more ppl in my list that you dont have on yours. You can feel free to use mine to update yours, and thank you for giving the idea about the spreadsheets :)

I added a column showing every beneficiary's country; after the nickname of each filer there is a link to their profile, and I added few ppl you didn't have on your list; also, I organized the dates of filing... Hope you'll like it

Hi Everyone.

I was a February 2009 I-130 filer, too. USCIS received it on February 20 and the NOA2 was issued on March 17. It is crazy how fast the CSC is issuing approvals right now.

Our problem now seems to be the NVC. My husband and I have already started to get all the documents ready (as per the shortcuts), but we still haven't been assigned a case number. It is also discouraging because the USCIS website says that our I-130 petition is still pending (but I got the hardcopy of the NOA2 in the mail on March 21??) It doesn't make sense to me... maybe the NVC is on a major back-up due to the surge in recent approvals... I don't know.

Anyone else in a similar position? I call the NVC daily, and I even waited to talk to a representative tonight. She gave me the standard "2 to 4 weeks and up to 90 days" response to get an NVC case number... but then I see a bunch of people on these threads from the Vermont Service Center (and even some others from the California Center) who get a case number in a matter of days.

I wouldn't normally be so impatient, but we are expecting our first child together (and the first child for either of us) on May 10 and although I am coming to terms with the fact that he probably won't be here for her birth, I am hoping that he will be here very soon thereafter.

For those of you that are still waiting for NOA2's from February... don't worry, it looks like they are moving things through really quickly right now. Just try to be patient! (I know, easier said than done).

Most of y'all will be pleasantly surprised with my updated spreadsheet. I started thinking about it and it makes more sense to use the most current data for our anticipation dates, so instead of taking the longest amount of time between steps I just used the info from the last 3 months. There are a few countries that didn't have any data so I just used the combined averages for all countries. Unfortunately those of you with SO's in China, Indonesia, & UK your dates are later now because of the most current data - sorry.

I'm on the same boat as you are. My NOA2 was dated March 16, and I still don't have a NVC case #. I talked to the NVC operator the other night and was told the same thing--wait a while and call back in few days or so. There's nothing we can do but be patient and wait and wait and wait some more.

Anyway, congrats on your first born. It must be tough for you both that your husband may not be there for your child's birth. But think positive that he'll be there with you and your child in few months or so.

Hello everyone!

I am Feb/March filer. My NOA1 date is March 05. I was a silent reader of this thread, but I thought now, it is a good time to create a account. First of all, many congratulations to DesiDon, carlish and all other who just got their NOA2s. Thanks to WhidbeyGirl for keeping and updating the spreadsheet. I am going to update my timeline, so please add me to the list. Best of luck to all of us!!!:thumbs:
