HELLO ALL from Africa. I just got here on Friday morning, am having a wonderful time. I will update everyones info on the spreadsheet when I get back on the 22nd. I have been reading about all the really fast approvals - LESS THAN 40 DAYS - WOW!!!!!! I pray we all can get approvals that fast!!!

carlish - I bought my laptop a Dell D610 from ebay. It is a refurbished one and it is EXCELLENT, it only cost me $300. The battery doesn't last long but it's ok the charger is great. I will get onto my ebay account and give you the ame of the seller, he refurbishes and resells lots of computer, he is a great seller, honest and helpful.

Hello there, could you please add me to your spreadsheet? I mailed my I-130 on February 19th and my Noa1 was dated March 2nd. Thanks!

February definitely lucky!

19 days noa1 to 2 :)

off to NVC

I hope this pace keeps up through rest of the process and for everyone else also

Hey Congratulation!!

I also found a gift in the mailbox when I got home tonight! Our NOA2 is finally here. Our petition is APPROVED!!

The NOA2 is dated March 16, 2009--33 days from NOA1 date!

I guess I need to start gathering my NVC documents. When do I expect to hear from NVC? Will they contact me and my husband?

Anyway, goodluck everyone. Be patient, your NOA2 will come soon... have faith and believe it.

BTW, my case status at USCIS Website still says "case received and pending." I guess they don't update their Website as often as we'd like to.

WOW!!that's awesome carlish...

sigh** i hope i can have mine soon....and thank you for telling us that USCIS dont update their website, coz i was thinking that they dont look at my case and im losing hope...

but anyways! congrats! congrats!! go! go! go! this is where your bumpy journey starts...goodluck! goodluck!

i read ur story b4 and it was so beautiful. I just want to share also my husband and I's case. We submitted our I130 last Marc 12 to California Service Center and we have not heard anything yet. ( we read though that all stand alone filer for I130 must submit to Chicago. We just really want to have it processed corretcly as we both miss each other and I think im gonna die waiting. I just want to be with my husband.

Please if u know anything about this , let me know. Thank you.

I'm so grateful I found this forum. Thanks for making this thread. :)

Anyway, I filed the I-130 for my husband last Thursday and it was received at the Chicago lockbox on Saturday. As of today, the check hasn't been cashed in yet.

Hi Carlish,

may i ask where did u send your I130? was it in Chicago or in California Service Center? I just want to know coz we submitted ours in California instead of Chicago. Pls let me know.

thank you.

Oh Im sorry Carlish, I wasnt reading. Ok it was in Chicago Lockbox. Do you think we made a mistake in mailing it to California?

hehe..i just answered your question on the Philippine Forum, anyways,AS FOR ME, i think its still early to be worried about the NOA1.

Well, correct me if im wrong....but as far as I can remember I read from a VJ member before or i think some other forums, not really sure that they send it directly to the service center and she didnt have any problems with it......

Well,i cant really directly answer your question coz i think my husband send it thru chicago lockbox....I'm sorry.

But please dont be soooo worried.....

Someone here correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all the stand-alone I-130 applications are supposed to be sent to the Chicago Lockbox. Why did you send it California?

Anyway, thanks for the well-wishes guys! Hang in there. Goodluck!

Hubby has just called to say it arrived in the post today, and is dated 13th March 2009. Approval exactly one month after posting. This has to be a record time.

Spooky as both posting and approval dates were on Friday 13th (Feb and Mar). Who said that was unlucky????? I don't think so!

Best wishes to all of you with the process, I'm sure you will receive yours too shortly. It looks like February was indeed a lucky month to file.
