As for us, we are currently looking at December before hubster can come here Things just aren't working out as we planned them,this totally blows, he got the visa in August :sigh:

Congrats lixer, that was a long way to go that is finally over

I just wanted to share about me - I received 2 welcome letters so far, today I received my GC, yeyyy

Still no SS card, will probably stop by at their office tomorrow. Not that I need it that much as I still have my old one and since it's the same number don't see why I should get another one, except my name is different now, but I never really had to show my SS card before to anyone, no one never asked me to...

So, what do you think?

V., why is Kenan coming over so late? I thought he was coming over in Oct after his religious fast? Praying everything is going good still there.

BTW, we went to the doctor yesterday - we are going to have a boy Both of us were surprised as we were thinking all the time it's a girl

We also went to the doctors about a week ago and the sonologist said that the baby was being a little shy about his privates (so he takes after his daddy after all, cause mommy ain't got a shy bone in her body lol!) So he said that chances are it's 75%-80% that we're having a boy...when I asked about whether he could point me in the right direction as to where the ####### or the 3 lines for a girl may be on the ultrasound he laughed and said that how can he show me something that just isn't there...he then pointed out a sort of side view of some longer rounder thing which I thought might be an extra swollen ####### majora....but he said that is the part of the ####### the baby isn't hiding with his hand. LOL. I guess mothers intuition is pretty strong because I had a very strong sense that the baby is a boy (IA) from day one...to the point that even though I used to really want a girl in the first trimester I would get imagination block as to seeing the baby as a girl inside me...that strong!

You guys think I should go w/ what the doc says till next month(next ultrasound)? I figure(cause the doc explained it)that there's more of a chance of being wrong about having a girl(doc says girl, comes out a boy) then the chances of being mistaken about having a boy(doc says boy, comes out girl....which happens less frequently than the latter) at ultrasound because of the structure of the female genitals at that point(20 weeks +). W/ a girl...you're looking for something that is there or not (boy parts) plus 3 significant lines(girl parts)....with a boy you're looking for something that's there or not because the first look clarifies whether girl parts are even there or not to make an assumption of....so less of a chance to be mistaken because the first look...if you see or don't see the 3 lines you know 50% what you're gonna get, the rest is just added to the total as you see more and more parts either gender. Hope that made sense...lol.

Whadda ya think Ani? (fingers crossed as we've got our hearts set at having a lil baby boy now..lol)
