Just called nvc and the operators still keep insisting that it was sent out on the 12th and not the 10th for sure...even though I pointed out that would be a weekend but nope...they still insist it was the 12th....and dhl site is still showing no shipments found for the 12th. Although....I just checked using the 14th and voila (no doubt it's our package weighing in at a whopping 12.0 lbs baby!! thats ours for sure..lol)there it was.....though it's still in transit and will probably take another 3-4 days to get to the embassy......but who cares.....finally what a relief woohoooooooo!!

There were probably a few packages, not just yours . If you used the 14th then it wasn't shipped until today (15th), my guess is still that it was printed the 10th and shipped the 11th, because as you said the 12th was a Saturday.

Well I finally got a reply to my email this morning from the embassy and their still saying they only received my case electronically but it hasn't reached them physically yet. So if it were any of the packages from the 10th or 11th they all say delivered and signed for.....so I think it's fair to assume that mine was sent out later than that, and currently the only/earliest day that could have been would be the 14th.....and since I know that my package most likely weighs above 10lbs....adding up the weights of each pckg I've sent incl. the original petition......this is most likely due to the fact that I sent 3 copies of ABSOLUTELY EVERY LITTLE THING in each pckg and sent every sort of proof I could get my hands on...no matter how insignificant.

3 COPIES OF EVERYTHING??????? I made 3 copies of it all but only sent in one. LOL! I'd believe the email so probably still waiting for hard copies. BTW you need to fix your timeline - you put that your interview is 09-16-10 instead of 10-16-09

Hi everyone,

Haven't been by for a while, so congratulations to everyone for the progress you all have made. Whidbeygirl, I'll be thinking of you on 23rd and know that everything will turn out just fine. Congrats in advance to Mumtaz and Ani on the arrival of your beautiful babies.

Well, I've had the most frantic three weeks since leaving work at the end of August, clearing my house getting it ready to be rented out. Now, I'm almost done and finalising my packing. Will be leaving for the USA tomorrow morning! I can't believe it, after all this time I finally get to go!!!

Best wishes to everyone and one things for sure - by the end of 2009, we should all be with our loved ones and the end of this painful separation period will be over.

I came in the USA on 22 nd of August and got the permanent green cards on 17th of September.

I'm leaving my island in less than 8 hours. My flight doesn't leave for another 14 hours but there's not an ferry off the island early enough to get to the airport on time. So I'll probably get to the airport 4 or 5 hours early, depending if my son and I stop to get some breakfast. Poor thing has to wait for the first ferry back, will have about 3 hours and my truck doesn't have any heat. Love my boy . He even colored and highlighted my hair for me today.
