No interview yet, eh? Man, what a bummer -- there's a ton of us waiting here in Canada -- K1, CR1... not to be a giant bummer, but I called on Friday and the woman with whom I spoke said they'd finished scheduling for October dates. Trailmix said to take that with a grain of salt though....

Because Monday last week was a holiday in the US, they advised that they are still scheduling today and tomorrow. who knows anymore the wife will be impressed.

Hey ek,

I've been watching the debacle, aka Montreal interview list, in the Canadian forum and I really feel for you. I had a hard enough time waiting for our date to be assigned and feel total empathy for you. I truly wish they would pull their heads out of their a$$e$ up there because they are making the wait even worse than it needs to be. I know it's not much help, but hang in there and we have our fingers crossed for you.

okay...I just went over my timeline today and realized that I have no clue what the packet 3 instructions packet is......I don't remember receiving anything other than the interview cover letter...and i believe that's packet 4 am I right? So what's packet 3 and how come I never received it......I see you have to send it back to nvc too before interview...........WAH NO! WAIT.....what is packet 3 and how come I missed it. Will this cause any problems with the interview (God Forbid)???????

Wait a minute....there's supposed to be a packet 3.5 too!!! What the fudge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHH! How don't I know about this stuff???

I'm officially freaking out here....

Not to worry Mumtaz. The I864 was packet 3 and the DS230 was packet 4. OR I864 was packet 3, DS230 was packet 3.5 and letter from embassy telling you what to bring to interview is packet 4. Regardless, DON'T worry, you got it all.

Re-post - originally made a new topic for this question but since it got no real action I decided to just do what has always worked for me when in need of answers....ask my FFFF's!!!

Finally after 2 weeks of waiting and calling nvc non-stop an operator finally informed me that my case has been forwarded to Islamabad embassy on the 12th....but when I try to track it on the DHL site by typing "EXP 12 SEP 2009A" in the reference value I get an error msg at the top of the page that says "No shipments found. Please revise criteria and resubmit."

I chose to stay with the default shipment pickup date range for today....the 14th. Which is "From: Aug 30 2009 - To: Sep 14 2009" also tried "Sep 1 2009 to sep 15 2009" today but nothing.

I even tried other dates like the 11th, 13th, 14th and 15th but same msg for the last three........I did get a list for the 11th but there were no shipments to Islamabad in the entire list.

What am I doing wrong......was the operator lying???

OMG Whidbey!!!!!!!!! You're amazing honey.........simply WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! Honestly though.....I didn't even think to use the 10th cause it was so far back you know......but I'll bet any amount of mcdonalds cheeseburgers (mmm.....i'm so craving right now..."I'm Lovin' it" ) that nvc can't even get their dates correct when it comes to forwarding and mailing out....I'm sure the lady screwed up telling me it was the 12th, although come to think of it she didn't seem that sure of it either....I'll call back in a little while and ask again just to be safe....
