Well, I've been busy the last one week since I arrived. Trying to get my life back, although it won't happen with that little baby kicking inside of me

I signed up for classes very first day after arriving as it was deadline

Went to apply for health insurance, hubby's won't cover me utill Dec'09/Jan'10...

Went on a Big dinner with the whole family - in-laws, new nieces and nephews... and everyone was talking only about the baby, me and hubby didn't exist anymore, whew...

Went with hubby to the other state for a small surgery check (he had a small surgery on his neck few weeks ago)...

Went to T-mobile to check what's going on with my account, so to make long story short - taking T-mobile to court for selling me an international phone that did not work overseas, and they won't pay refund back for it, and for canceling my account without notifying me and sending me to collections for $200 for not paying my bill (some made up airtime charge of 40 cents)

Had a nice jet-ski BBQ beach party organized by hubby for welcome home

Went again to the Nantucket Island, and can't wait to go back to my favorite Martha's Vineyard paradise

Still haven't gotten to the point when I'll post my interview experience - I had a long 30-40 min conversation with the council.

Hope everyone's interviews are being passed with success, congrats to Betsy that AP is finally over, good luck to Whidbey for her AP, and congrats to all others who got their visas or had their cases completed finally.

GOOD, they are $%#@$^$&$& and #$*&%*%$*%$* and they deserve to be sued! Can you believe that they STILL haven't resolved my issue??? This technically makes it a year now.....why the frick does it need to take a year to say oops we made a mistake! Jerks....definitely post on what happens about this, I'd love to hear that they got whooped in the end....

Sad day my friends body was found and police are saying there is foul play. He was supposed to have a custody hearing to get full custody of his son yesterday. Such a terrible thing to find out - today of all days.

hey guys this is a repost....please if you could help me out!

Hi everyone! on sept. 25, my husband will have his interview at the embassy in manila! he just passed his medical exam at saint lukes and really very happy and thankful for that. anyway, just a question: last year i did not make enough to meet the poverty level because i just got out of school in may 2008 and started working in august 2008. i was only working as a nursing assistant too and only part time but if you total up the annual income it goes over the 125% above poverty requirement. so when it was time to do our affidavit of support, i just got an employment letter stating my annual income. it was accepted and we had no problem with that in NVC. anyway for the whole month of july i went home and left my job because i was gone for about 5 weeks. i came back in august and got a new job and got hired on aug 24, 2009. this time, i am working as a registered nurse and full time because i passed my boards. I asked for my hire letter and they did give it to me. It stated they are offering my a job as a full time nurse with $XX amount per hour (of course my salary almost tripled) but it is contigent upon my CORI check and license verification. anyway i am on my third week of work this week and hopefully in time for my husband's interview i will be able to scan my paycheck and send it to him.

i stated in my letter to NVC with the I 184 that i just started working in aug 2008 thats why income in my w2 form only came up to about 10k for the year 2008.

my question is do i have to make a letter stating this whole story to the consul or can my husband just explain it? we have all the supporting documents anyway... intterview is two weeks, do i have to send a signed original paper? ugh, il have to send it priority!

what other things can people advice...documents etc...

08-31-2009: Emailed the embassy DS-230 one last time in hopes of getting interview date/called the DOS - no further information from Embassy. They don't even know about the embassy calling Steve to come on 9-08-09. Oh happy day!

09-03-2009: Embassy said they received DS-230, part I

09-08-2009: Steve went to the embassy and they gave him the run around. They made him fill out ANOTHER DS-230 form... still waiting for interview

09-10-2009: CALLED DOS....... FINALLY!!!!!!!! INTERVIEW DATE

09-28-2009: Medical scheduled for 8:30 am at MoBay

10-13-2009: ***INTERVIEW***

Comments : Received NO2A the same day we got engaged, 06-30-09
