I am sad to hear that you guys are still waiting to hear about AP or have interviews scheduled, I thought for sure we all would be approved by the end of this month...

I am having a great time with my husband, but in the back of my mind I always think about you guys and wish your time together comes soon also, very soon

Praying for you

I have 4 days left before I go back home. Feelings are still mixed, Kenan will be leaving everyone and everything he has known for the past 28 years in order to be with me. As appreciative as I am of his sacrifice, there is still that feeling of guilt in me because I am separating him from his mother and sister, from the kind of life he is used to, kind of environment he loves, systems and culture he knows and understands... I pray to God that I have enough patience, understanding and love in me to make up for it all to him...

congrats to V and Rehan for the approval and congrats to all of the scheduled interviews. And terribly sorry for those with AP!!!

well it's been 9 days since nvc entered my bc into their system....am still waiting for a change in the avr or maybe if I'm lucky a sign in failed at the immigrant visas site......no such luck of course.

I am doing my best to become fully mentally prepared for the very high possibility of AP we are most likely going to have to experience after interview. I'm just hoping for a earlier interview date than october........since my due date is february 14th I really need to think about my baby and the possibility that I may need to go back to the states and leave hub behind soon so that I can have the baby in the U.S. I really don't think I have any choice really...........plus I really do miss my mom more than anything and would love to spend this valuable time with her. I know that she will spoil me to no ends because I'm pregnant....and to be honest I could really use some pampering like that right about now.lol. I just don't know how I will cope with the idea of not having Haseeb there when the baby comes....but I guess that is something I will have to deal with. I plan on staying till the interview so I can be there with him.....but immediately afterwards I will be leaving for Michigan. I can't travel in the very late months of pregnancy...and I really don't think that would be a good idea at all. So I'm just praying right now that I can get a damn case complete soon already and a interview date.....once I get the interview date I think I'll call and ask for an earlier one....hopefully I can get one in september so that I can leave in or before october.....

jeez.....my life's always gotta be so damn complicated! WHEN DO I GET TO RELAAAAXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAHHHH!

once I get the interview date I think I'll call and ask for an earlier one....hopefully I can get one in september so that I can leave in or before october.....

Mumtaz dear, most likely they'll assign you an interview date for Oct. If your case is complete in Aug, interview date will be assigned the second week of Sept. And depending on when NVC will transfer the case to Pakistan, when it's already there, you can call the USEM in Islamabad and try to reschedule for earlier. Good luck hun, and a sooner case complete

Per Sarah at DOS the embassy received my email letting them know I am planning a trip to see SO and the notes say they would love to interview with me :-). She said there weren't any notes as to when so I'll email embassy to see what they have to say!

We did it! I was approved and out of the Consulate before 9:00. SomberCat sent me a text around noon that they were forgotten about but eventually approved too. She and her husband are such awesome people! It was great hanging out with them.

Thanks so much everyone. Couldn't have done it without all of the help. I'll post a review next week when I get home from Montreal but as a snippet now, there's nothing like the consulate forgetting about you. I could have beat them with a stick. lol At least it all turned out well. Thanks again!

Congratulations Canada gals! I am jealous you got to hang out together, but it is ok since we will meet up in Dallas like we said we would Congrats again, I am so happy for you!!!
