hey guys I hope everyone is doing ok we call nvc ad we have interview date for september date so with Gods help i maybe with my sweety for my BD am misisng him so so much.

Congrats one and all. I'll get to updating the sheet on Monday or so. I am super busy with our county fair. I'm so happy for y'all, but also so disappointed now that we are on AP especially since Betsy's husband at least gave up his passport DOS won't tell me anything, in fact they argue with me when I tell them that this isn't "standard procedure" that I know 10-20 people who in the last two months were approved at their interview - they insist no one is approved at interview. THIS TOTALLY SUCKS!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry for you and your hubby and I am very familiar with that embassy, but am curious when you say they said no one is approved? Please can you explain that? That way we are also prepared when the time comes.

It wasn't the embassy that told me that it was the Department of State. They have told me on several occasions that NO ONE is approved at the interview that EVERYONE is put on AP/AR. It's obviously a lie they are scripted to tell.

Scheduling has been completed on September Interviews for the Montreal Embassy and I don't have one.

I spoke to 3 different operators (not all today) and was told that they haven't finished scheduling yet...

Really? That's a huge bummer if so...

Sent and email to embassy requesting information, offering any assistance, also let them know I understood the reasoning for the process and thanked them for their time & energy (buttering up never hurts )

Here's their response:

"This process will take several weeks or even a few months. Thank you, if we do need anything we will ask. We have learned from experience not to discuss what we are researching; when we do, our clients tend to get involved and compromise the integrity of our research."

I called twice this morning and was advised that they were still scheduling. I called about an hour later and that is when I was told scheduling was completed. Each time I call I use a different case number (i have 4 that I check on)

Hello Sir,

I want to know how to request NVC (or whomever) for an "EXPEDITED" interview date? I have seem some comments saying they requested expedited service and were able to get an interview date quicker (matter of 3 to 4 weeks after completion of NVC work).

NVC will only expedite for Emergency Medical Reasons. If you call them they will advise how to request an expedite.

actually eklondon was right. nvc really did complete scheduling for now as they do schedule interviews the 2nd week of the entire month for next one. sometimes they do schedule the 4th week of the month as well, but not every month! ek, hopefully they'll start scheduling again next week

Hey Chris and Ani! I called DOS today and they gave me a canned answer about being in AP and they have no idea when we will be out. They told me I can call back weekly which I planned on doing anyway. I emailed Cairo but so far no word from them yet How are things going for you guys?

Thanks for asking We're very impatient but good. I am getting scared - have the interview in one week. Went for my monthly medical at the doctor today - baby is good and I heard her/his beating, saw feet kicking around (3D) and tears got into my eyes me and hubby have 7 months anniversary today and we're almost there... at the end we've been waiting for that baby for more than 1 year, i hope i'll be home with hubby in 2 weeks and sleep well, wish you the same dear

you are totally right. I just called and was told by a VERY, VERY nice woman that they have completed scheduling interviews for September. I am really sorry that you didn't get one and as a matter of fact, it looks like hardly any Canadians got September interviews?

anyway, sorry for you, if we'd have gotten one, I would have been up ####### creek without a paddle as I am nowhere close to organized for my move yet.
