I don't think so.... "touches" can mean anything... from your paperwork being looked at to it going from one place to another.... I hope USCIS just processes our paperwork in a TIMELY manner.

And don't say us February filers aren't lucky! We are only going into the first month since we filed! I have hope someone is going to get approved soon!

i feel you, taj. Miss my hubby too, this is the first time in 4yrs that we've been separated this long. I know it's worse on you and my hubby's part coz you're all by yourselves while we have our support group here in the Philippines.

Hang on, May is just a breath away :)

i have just been in a lot of stress lately...i dont really have anyone to talk to about it...i live with my sister but we cant really relate to this type of thing. i have friends from work and everything...i dont go out...its just work home...work home...sometimes the library...sometimes the grocery and small errands to do like going to the bank, post office etc....i never really spend a whole day outside...my husband and son live with my parents in the philippines and they go out and stuff when i really miss those old times...i have days when i relapse when all i want to do it lie in bed and stay in my room. there are even days when i feel like i dont wanna study anymore because im just so fed up with the routine.

sometimes i dont want to spend so much time on chatting with my husband and my son because i get so upset and sad when i see them so far away...sometimes i just feel better to see my son sound asleep than to see him running around the house and playing...today my mom and husband told me that my son is learning to put the telephone to his ear when they say "call mama"...

and to top all of that...the people i live with at home just critizes me everytime...it would take 5 years for my husband to join me? or that he is not good enough to get residency training here in the united states (my husband has a medical doctor degree) or that my income will not be enough and i could probably take my son to a homeless shelter... just because i am only a nursing assisstant right now studying for my boards...or that i probably would not pass the licensure exam... all this negative aura...

i find comfort in this website...i read and read about peoples story and somehow i can connect...also i try to learn about islam each day...and i am just trying to be appreciative that at least i have a job and its above 125% poverty level and i dont think im going to get laid off or fired because i do my job so well...

ug...sorry you all i just had to vent...its the weekend...

So sorry you are feeling like this taj. This must be very difficult for you without your child. DON'T let the negativity get to you, surround yourself with positive people and positive things.

You are in a WONDERFUL field of study. There won't be a decline in the need for nurses/medical field. I have a friend who came here to the US last year on a lottery visa and he had his environmental engineering degree. His plan was to complete his masters in engineering, but he saw the big need for nursing so he switched and is now a CNA and working toward his RN right now.

and I am in Vermont Center....

Looking at these anticipated dates on the spreadsheet makes me depressed, feb 2010 before he's here? :(

I haven't seen my husband since August of 2008, and I won't be able to take off work for quite some time... I'm hoping to spend our anniversary together in July....My God, such a long time without him. When did this happen, when did I decide for my life to be this way :D

Alright, I am done venting how :D
