approx. how long does it usually take from sign in failed to actual case complete and/or case transfer to embassy???

happy monday everyone,

i just got back from another vacation. was hoping to hear great news here from W. I'm sorry about ur situation W. But yes, a week only to call back is a very good sign  hopefully they'll be done with the AP in a day or two  i'm crossing my fingers for you, girl (F)

cmls, sorry for ur loss, i could understand how you feel. my grandpa died a week before i came back home and they told me 3 months later (my father doesn't talk to his mother so we were not visiting there for the past 20 years, and that's the reason i didn't find out right away. plus, they didn't tell me because they didn't want to break my good mood and celebration of our wedding day). i was named after him and i did love him despite the family awkward situation. however, i just spent a week with my other grandma (my mom's mother) who i love so much, and as she's very old (80) i wanted to share some time with her before i leave for a long time next month. sorry again, may ur grandpa RIP. :( p.s. but congrats on ur visa :)

taj, congrats on case complete, girl woo hooooo

mumtaz, i tried to log in in the morning on that friday (july 10th) and was still able to do it. then, few hours later, log in failed and the same nite i called NVC to have it confirmed by an operator that case was complete...

interview was assigned on july 29th. i thought that case was transferred to usem in bulgaria on july 30th, but i called the usem the other day to find out that NVC has transferred only fiancé visas in single packages and that the CR-1 visas will be transferred in a package all tohether to the usem in BG after the middle of this month. the usem operator told me that once they receive my case, i could call to pull my interview date forward (that's what i called for and the answer was satisfying) :) mumtaz, how's the pregnancy going? do you know already if it's going to be a boy or a girl? i promised hubby that i'd wait till i get back to usa so we'd go together to the doc and find out what we're having :)

well, have a happy week everyone, please share more good news and hopefully the bad ones will turn into good ones this week...

 i almost missed V. for a sec. V., good luck on hubby's interview tomorrow (L)

xoxoxoxo to all (F)

After failed log-in it's complete in day or two. As far as transferring to embassy it's done after you are given an interview date.

My case was complete mid June but it wasn't until mid-July that it was transfered.

Hi V! Glad you popped in and are having a great time. Isn't it cool to be having so much fun that you forgot the interview was coming? My husband and I had the same thing happen over the weekend although our interview isn't until next week. We still laughed about it. Good luck and let us know as soon as you can. (F)

hello everyone, i have a question, i recieved a letter of rejection for my husband's ITIN. i told my cousin about this as she is handling our taxes. i am worried, does this mean that our taxes haven't even been filed yet? its just that i was suppose to get some money from the IRS but nothing came and then this letter. for the AOS documents, i gave in my 1040EZ. but now our case is complete (does that mean the tax thing was all set and okay???? this was my first time to file taxes because i was a fresh grad and only started working last year)...what kind of impact will this make on our interview. i dont know for sure when we will get our appointment letter but i am hoping to have our interview in october, i am wishing they would schedule it in october. but its not up to us. i am jobless and i am looking for a job as a nurse since i just passed my boards but its kinda tough to look for a job. what if the interview is september and i still dont have a job? can my husband say "well she was working as a nursing assistant then she passed her boards and she is upgrading from being an assistant to a staff nurse"?

i cant really pressure my cousin lawyer to fix up this mess because she has a two month old plus no one in my family knows i have already petitioned my husband and gone this far. any comments?

That's awesome!

As for your taxes, I don't have the answers. But I hope you get to sort it out before the interview. In our case, the prescreener and the consulate officer specifically looked at my I-864.
