I was going to wear cute little floral dress and cowboy boots, but I am worried that the interviewer could be a woman, and then it wouldn't go so well, I kinda look good in dress and boots and the b1tch may get jealous, you know :lol:

I decided I am going to wear dark gray pants, navy blue button down shirt, light gray shoes and belt. Pretty muted and conservative, but the blue shirt does wonders for my eyes in case the interviewer is a man and I do need to flirt ...

In other things for me - the DHL package LEFT Wilmington, OH at 6:49am this morning. SO wasn't able to get his bloodwork results yesterday - hopefully today.

You wish, suckers, yooouuu wish! :P

Forgot to tell you, hubster had his medical yesterday, everything went well. He is supposed to call the doctor again on Friday to get the final word, but so far from speaking with the doctor everything seems in order, I am not worried ...

I am slowly starting to pack, picking out outfits to bring with me. I am kinda shallow, like to dress nicely, so I haul loads of clothing with me and then end up wearing just like 2-3 outfits when I go visit him. But the thought of not having multiple outfitting options ...yeah no, it's not for me :)

hi all!

do you think it's a good idea to email embassy for an interview confirmation few days before an interview??? has anyoen done that??

I was thinking of doing that as well, just to be safe. I will email them to confirm date and also to confirm that I DO NOT have to bring again originals of the documents they already have. If going by check list that NVC sent us, then they already have majority of originals and no sense in submitting yet another set of documents...

Hopefully the embassy will respond to my email :)

Since one of the items on NVC check list said they're missing original financial information, I just requested my 2008 tax transcript and will bring pay check stubs with me, and a copy of our tax return. I guess I could just print out the form 1040 and husband and I can sign it, and it will count as original, since we obviously submitted the original ORIGINAL to IRS, duh!

I am also gonna go shop today for a somewhat small photo album and start putting together our pictures to bring to the interview

Oh, I am so excited I don't know what to do with myself, so I opted to bug y'all :)

Yay, finally SS! Hey, don't let the foreigner drive your car for his driver's licence test, don't be crazy! I can somehow trust the immigrant to sleep with him, but when it comes to my car...now there more strict rules apply
