So their cases were complete on 5/13 & 5/15 so they just missed the June interviews and weren't scheduled for July. Since your case was completed 6/8 there probably is a good chance you have to wait until September. Sorry I'm sure that's NOT the answer you were looking for.

Whidbey I know. My husband really really really wanted an August interview because he doesn't want to start teaching another school year in Egypt. Oh and did I mention we miss each other??? That too. What can we do?

YAY V-DAWG! CONGRATULATIONS!!

(better?)

:)

Oh, and yeah, the "final review" thing is completely normal. They told my husband the "final review" could take 2-4 weeks, I think. That was on May 7th (same day as my 'sign in failed'). But the AVR was updated on May 8th to say "your case was completed on May 7, 2009". So as usual, the "2-4 weeks" thing was a big old lie.

Are you pretty clear on the NVC and interview process? Ready for the next step? There are some really wonderful people in this thread willing to help, as long as you read the guides first and don't come with STFU questions, we will love you to death and guide you through NVC if needed.

Congratulations on your petition approval!

I just realized I forgot to congratulate a bunch of people for things...

Feisal - yay for the case complete!

Rehan - yay for the interview date! That's awesome!

cmls - yay for the interview date for you too! I'm so excited for you! It's too bad that you won't be there at the same time as Sombercat and I, but it's great that you have a head start! I know I'll be anxious to hear how it went! Also, as SomberCat said, it would be great if you could let us know how the medical goes. I just booked mine today for July 27th in Montreal and I'm a little nervous for it. I'm probably more nervous for the medical than I am for the interview! I'm not sure why, since my regular doctor says I'm completely healthy, except that my blood pressure is a little high for someone my age.

And if I forgot to congratulate anyone else for anything, um.... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! :D

BTW impblaze.

The next step will be the NVC receiving your case. Our group averaged 16 days for this. Shortest being 7 days and longest being 31 days. After that is the DS3032 & I864 bill in which the average is 8 days, shortest being 1 day and longest being 26 days.
