Hey a big congrats to you too!! Although I'm looking forward to meeting Holliday, I'd trade dates to get in earlier like you did. So are you any calmer today? lol I'm not really. However, I did book our hotel in Montreal and we did set a moving date so that's made me chill out a little.

BTW, I forgot to mention in my other post, let us know how the medical is. My husband is leaving tomorrow to come down here for the weekend, but he's calling on Monday to make the appointment so he won't be too far behind you. He's kind of nervous about things (just his nature - he's a big worry wart), so whenever someone posts a medical review, interview experience or POE review in the Canada forum, I always forward them to him so he can see everything will be just fine.

will do! I called the office today- left a message -got a phone call about 2 hours later with the appointment....the lady I spoke with was very pleasant and asked me to get there as early as possible. Also a friend of mine did her medical today- she said everything went well-she got there early (6:45 am) and was out in less than 2 hours....

Me either. I think I got about a total of 3 hours of sleep and when I crawled into my staff meeting this morning, I prayed no one would notice if I fell asleep. You and I were probably two peas in a pod. I couldn't hold a freakin' train of thought for more than about 10 minutes all day. Lame.

I read through all of the reviews. We were looking for something a little more upscale as this will be the only "vacation" we take this year and we're staying for 3 days. I ended up going to Hotwire and getting the Hyatt Regency (4 star) for $89 a night. CHEAP! Their website lists at $167 a night. It's only .22 miles from the consulate, so it's an easy walk.

I see you're in Mississauga which isn't all that far from my husband. He's in Woodstock (via Amherst, Nova Scotia lol). His sister lives in Mississauga too and we have an office I go to there about once or twice a year. Where's your husband at? Is it a long drive for him to come celebrate this weekend?
