I want an interview!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Hopefully we'll hear something in 2 weeks girl!

Although, unless God provides a MIRACLE beyond all miracles I can't go to the interview :crying::crying::crying:

Girl I can't go to my hubby's interview either. I just started this job in November and I took off two weeks to go to Egypt in January so I have no VACA time.

oh no no noooo! lol. My case is not complete yet (oh god bless you're sweet toung....gudh shakkar gudh shakkar ;)) I still have yet to have completely gathered up all of my aos documents to send to nvc. This seems to be taking much much longer then I anticipated. Although, I did send in my ds230 in to the nvc and what I was saying earlier was that my ds230 (IV pckg) review only took 5 days.

I am just so worried of a denial if I'm not there. I know it's probably an irrational worry, but it's a worry nonetheless.

The AVR message for our case has been changed, it now says; The NVC has received your documents on June 16th. Please allow 6-8 weeks to ...."

Yesterday the lady said they will not change the message until they verify that all documents that are required have been sent.

So since message has been changed, I guess it's any day now before the approval

Our DS-230 package has been received by NVC on 11th June. We got a false RFE for missing DS-230 on the 11th, and as of yesterday we got the same message as yours. Let's cross our fingers for no RFE's and hopefully have our cases complete very very soon :P:)

Well, the weather is certainly HOTT!!! But, since Sialkot weather is somewhat like Islamabad's it's not so bad....it actually gets a tiny bit chilly sometimes...usually after it rains, a few days at least. Oh yes....and the mango's are absolutely delightful!!!! Too bad you can't find those babies in the states!! (trust me, I've searched and searched...only way is to get em from paki)

Hey Ani,

Come check out the Lucky Pregnant or TTC VJ'ers thread. I could use some help getting it going from a fellow preggo....^_^.

Grrrr I don't know what to think right now... I need to vent

I am so excited about everything moving fast for us right now, but at the same time timing isn't right. Here's the deal:

I figured best case scenario we will get interview early August, which would be fine if I just didn't tell that to my store manager and she informed me that my manager, the one I directly report to, is also taking time off in August 5-22nd :( We cannot both be absent at the same time.

Our store management just changed last week, lots of pple got fired, the new managers are trying to bring the people from their old stores and basically my job is at risk if I leave now. We have some company big shots visiting from corporate in August...it's just not good time.

Also my husband is now thinking that since August 21st the month of Ramadan starts that he should not travel then.

So if we got approved before 21st and he could come here before start of Ramadan, then it's fine. Otherwise we're looking at end of September before he can come here because that's when the month of fasting ends :(

I guess it's a big deal if he "breaks" his fasting while traveling, and also he wants to spend one last Ramadan with his family ...

Either way, I am screwed... I don't know that I can wait until end of September. I am miserable right now, I don't know what to think ...

This sucks :crying:

Vareska,

Just take a deep breath. You might or might not get an August interview. Have you tried to look at other cases from Bosnia that have completed in the recent past to see how long it takes to get an interview?? For instance, I found someone whos case was completed at NVC in early April for Cairo and didn't get an interview until July. We were done at NVC in early June so I am thinking we will get interview in September. I know it is hard when you see all these potential problems in the upcoming future. Just know it will all work out the way it is supposed to!!!! Ok #######?? LOL love you!!!
