Don't you think that we might get lucky and still get a July interview because my final review started yesterday and the AVR has not been updated yet. So we might get a case completion today and interview date tomorrow!!! Or may be I am getting too excited and optimistic!!

Whidbey girl, do u think the NVC may schedule interviews until the beginning of next week!!

I just had a strange conversation with a woman at the NVC. When I asked if we had been scheduled for an interview yet, she said no but then continued on to say that the official internal memo hasn't come out yet, but she's been told that July interview scheduling is over.

Normally I'd be disappointed, but I think there's something else going on. The last time Canada scheduled CR1/IR1 interviews was the third week of April. Everyone approved the end of April through the present are still waiting. Needless to say, since they are so backed up, most of us (except those approved in April) wouldn't be expecting a July interview anyway. We'd be expecting an August date. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that in here for Holliday, cmls and any other Canadians lurking around.

My husband spoke with someone last night at NVC and was told that our case was definitely not scheduled for a July interview, and to call back during the third week of July to find out if we have been scheduled for August. My husband asked if they were sure that all the scheduling for Montreal was done for July, and he was told that it was. But.... we'll see.

I'm getting frustrated because I just want to know! And if it's gonna be August, they may as well make it September so I can avoid paying $200 for the friggin Gardasil shot. Bah.

NVC recived it on May 29, but their systems says that they got it on June 01.

oh my, so many good news today! Congratulations you guys, I am so happy for you!!!

I am secretly still hoping for a July interview, Bosnia is a tiny country, there can't be many interviews that they need to schedule, so anyway that's what I am counting on :)
