I'd request them also. I know every time my husband comes through the border, they ask him for his to show proof that we've filed.

AOS in the system

My heart dropped when I heard the message "missing biographical information from the petitioner" but I quickly remembered this may be the false RFE thing because I have not sent in my IV yet :)

Planned to stop by post office after work today and send that in,but had to stay at work longer :(

Tomorrow it is then :)

Unfortunately, I don't think this is false RFE. When I got false RFE it said something to the affect that there was missing information but it did not give specific item. It was my DS 230 they were looking for. I would call them.

Thanks, I did. Spoke to a rep right away, she said it's because they're missing DS-230. I made sure to ask twice :)

Yikes, Vareska! I hope the tornado stays away from you! I don't look forward to moving somewhere that has an actual "tornado season". I don't think I'll cope well with that. I have no idea what to expect!

To eklondon re: the NOA - as others have said, you could request one if you want it, but I can't think of any reason you'd need it, other than to have as a souvenir. Heh. Since your family will be receiving IR visas, there won't be any adjusting of status once they are here. And if your family were to visit you in the U.S., I bet they could use any correspondence from NVC to prove that you're all doing this by the book. I guess what I'm saying is it can't hurt to request it, but don't fret if you don't have it.

Carlish - That's so exciting about booking the ticket! You guys are almost home! That's awesome!

That's definitely a false RFE.

Hope you're okay over there. I can't imagine living in a state where you have to constantly worry about tornadoes. I'd be so scarred.
