Nope, not a word. Remember 'way back when' when I said Montreal is slow? I wasn't kidding. :wacko: Holliday, cmls and myself are all still waiting. Keep your fingers crossed for us that we hear something this week, otherwise I might lose my mind... and my husband... well... I think he's already lost his. For a man that's normally calm and cool about everything, he's insane right now. :lol:

yea i remember you mentioning they were a couple of months behind. but i figure they still be able to give you a date for an interview about 2 months from now

Hey guys! wow Congrats Carlish! I'm really glad everything came out ok, and thanks for all the info!

I'm in México, enjoying time with my family, it's been 5 days without my husband and I miss him already, I can't wait for him to come ha ha.

No news on interview date for us either, we are still waiting and hoping we hear something soon. I'll keep you guys posted

Thank you, thank you for the well-wishes! It really feels like such a big burden had been lifted off our shoulder now that the journey is almost over. It's like we can finally breath again... it was really such a big relief.

The consul said that we should get it within the next 7 days, but we are hoping to get it delivered either on Friday or Saturday. We requested to get it expedited but the consul said if I'm leaving on the 18th, there's no need to expedite it as we should get it before then.

Anyway, looking back, it definitely helped that I was there during the interview. The pre-screener and the consul didn't need to question the validity of our relationship/marriage. To be honest, I almost felt like both the pre-screener and the consul were focusing more on interviewing me than asking questions to Carlo. They didn't ask for any emails, chat logs, greeting cards, phone cards, etc. The pre-screener just wanted to make sure we had photos together just in case the consul would ask to see them. But the consul didn't even bother. He was too busy looking at my I-864 while he was interviewing us.

I'd like to mention that the pre-screener (Filipino) and the consul (American) were both nice young men. They made the whole experience so pleasing and easy because they both greeted us with big smile and made us so comfortable. The consul would even ask questions in Tagalog with his little cute accent. It was really cool. LOL

During the interview with the consul, there was a young Filipina standing few feet behind him (just in case the consul needs anything). And when he approved the visa, he and the young lady both smiled while Carlo and I hugged and kissed.

Everything was so surreal once we got out of that room. Outside, we just sat quietly and held each other with tears in our eyes while we waited for our number to be called again to get the final instructions and precious pink form.

Goodluck! You will be fine. Just go at the Embassy as early as you can. Just prepare for a long wait (we were there for 5 hours), but it will all be worth it at the end. :star:

I love it how I think that I am luckier than rest of you and that my s*** will be updated instantaneously :lol:

We just received a text message from Air21 that they received my husband's visa today from the US Embassy. They provided a tracking number, and it should be delivered anytime soon. Yay!!!

I do that too! I have become that obsessed person checking online to see if I can still log in. I KNOW that right now the average is 25 days from the date the last package was sent to case closing so that means my case won't be closed until the 23rd so it's really pointless to call or login to the site. :lol:
