Hey guys, I'm setting everything up to go to Mexico I fly on thursday is kinda bitter sweet because today we found out my husband won't be able to come with me at least not right now, we;ll see if he can meet me there later for the interview and to visit my family.

since I'm setting everything up I wanted to share something with you, I'm preparing the stuff I'm bringing to the interview and I'm choosing the pictures that we are gonna print and well we were gonna print them in our printer here at home but yesterday we went to walmart and in the photo section I saw this photo album that they have is like a mini book with pictures and i think is a good deal the one with up to 36 pictures of 4x6 with 10 pages is 7 dollars and the one with up to 72 8x10 pictures with 10 pages too is 19.76

We are gonna go and have ours made tomorrow because we think is a better deal than printing them ourselves.

I just wanted to share it with you guys for those preparing for the interview too or those who soon will have to get ready for it

I'm bringing a mini photo album with me too for my husband's interview next Monday.

I have downloaded the Ds-230 from the official website - Do i have to write the NVC Case # on the forms and the documents as well or what?

I decided to check and see if NVC receive my DS230 package and on the usps site i see...

Status: Notice Left

WIll this get redelivered, would someone from NVC actually go pick it up?

Don't worry at all! This happend to me and also to SomberCat. You mailed it through express mail on Friday and NVC is closed on Saturday. They will definataly re-deilver it on Monday and if you check tomorrow afternoon, the message will be changed to DELIVERD. Just don't worry!! It's normal!

Hi FFFF's,

Just heard we've got our interview date - 31st July 2009 at 08.00am. Best news is that hubby will be back in the UK mid July and will be able to come with me.

Providing everything is fine, I can give in my notice at work the following Monday and be free to travel anytime in September. We had planned for me to fly out at the end of September, I'm thinking maybe we can bring that forward a couple of weeks now.

To all those waiting for dates, NVC seems to be motoring this week ..... you should all hear something very soon.

Atleast one thing is proven wrong as some people were saying that NVC only schedules interviews in the second week of every month. It's first week right now!!
